Oh yeah, I liked both of those scenes better in the movie than the books too. I love the music for the baseball scene. It is one of my favs on the soundtrack.

I just saw Kellen on E. Kellen, Ashley, and Dakota were at the opening for Push and they were interviewing them about the controversy over Jessica Simpson's weight gain. They all said it was sad that she couldn't be who she is and then Kellen says "I'm from the Midwest so I like my girls on the bigger side." Thought some ladies might be happy to hear that. lol

-It's not really a change, but one of my favorite moments is when Jasper and Alice hold hands in the Mercedes, even though it is two seconds long.

In my perfect world, and I was directing the movie, I would have had Bella and Edward touch hands while they are laying in the meadow. Then when Jasper and Alice hold hands it would mean more longing for Bella. I mean, in the shot they show Jasper and Alice holding hands, then cut away to Bella in the back of the car looking out the window. I'd love for her to be longing for her love at this point.

Talking about the soundtrack- I finally got around to actually paying attention to the words to Go All The Way (the first song at prom). Okay, I tend to overlook a lot of innuendo or not understand it so I thought I would ask you all- is it just me or is that song very unsubtle and dirty?!

No offense taken. I didn't want to like it either. But then I forgot it was a Twilight fanfic and enjoyed it. I'm done with all of the Sookie books (loved it after Book 2), read The Host( loved it after Chapter 21) started Harry Potter and now I'm kinda bored. At least fanfic is free.

Have you read the Sookie short stories? I saw a pic of Eric on the web that said "Who wants a Edward Cullen when you can have a real man?" I love Eric. I love Edward. Good thing they're both fictional or I'd be hopelessly torn.

As for Sookie, the box set #1-7 costs $55 at Barnes N Noble. But you can get it much cheaper on Amazon. 8 came out a few months ago, I believe and 9 will be out in May. They've just started filming the next season of True Blood in LA.... hmmm side trip one evening when we next go to DL??

I don't know that I would call it dirty but it is talking about going all the way (as in "relations"). Good or bad, as far as most songs go these days, it is pretty tame in my book - but maybe I have just gotten used to raunch the gets spewed over the airways.

Some versions of the lyrics say Everyday and some say Happy Day for the chorus. When I listen to the song it seems like it alternates between both of them but that is just my ears.

well I buy most of my books so I definitely say buy them...the only books I rent are bad cheesy chick lit books that I have no intention of reading again...everything else I buy...

the entire first season is based only on Book 1(and I have to say loosely because there are things that happen on the show that are so far from storylines in the book and characters that are on the show that don't show up until later books).

Admitting my addiction and joining the thread.

Hi, my name's Julie and I'm a twilightaholic. It started quickly. Everyone kept talking about the book on the DIS so I bought the first two from amazon to check them out. When the package came, opened it to read the first chapter and see what it was like....3 hours later, finished the book. Placed the order for the other two and read New Moon the next day.

I've converted my sister, about 3 of my friends and my cousin. Went to see the movie with my friend who hadn't read the books and she kept asking if her boyfriend could come to (I said sure but he won't thank you...he thought it was an action movie) and why are we surrounded by tween girls?

In December we had a big layoff at my company and after a stress filled day (I didn't lose my job but a lot of my friends did), I wanted to escape and yes, went to see Twilight again.

I've loaned the books out and miss them. One of my friends took the first two and called me later that week to say...um...can I have the second two? When she picked them up (and she was 8 months pregnant at the time so I felt a little weird giving her Breaking Dawn), she said that it was like they were her friends and she missed them and wanted to see what was going on with them. I told her I understood exactly what she meant.

My cousin emailed me last weekend and told me she finished all the books (she has the first two from me, found the other two at the high school library where she's an English teacher) AND Midnight Sun and had moped around all weekend sad because she wasn't a Cullen. Cute husband, 4 month old baby girl that's adorable, reads almost a book a day and she's asking me if we can start a coven...ha!

I think the PP who said the books are laced with crack is right.

I just ordered the soundtrack and pre-ordered the DVD.

I came across this - Hana Pestle is a local singer who's in the middle of breaking nationally and she is campaigning to have her song Need that she wrote inspired by New Moon on the New Moon soundtrack.
