I agree with that, up to the point that Rob starts talking. Then his accents wins everytime. I've always liked big mountain-like muscular men. (Well except for that phase as a teen when I loved Tony Hawk and any skater.) So, in that way Kellan would win out, until Rob spoke and then he accent would put him way above any amount of muscle Kellan has. Also, Kellan has a little a disadvantage in that he reminds me of a boy that was in my afterschool class at a daycare. The kid loved Harry Potter and we talked about it all the time. Anytime I see Kellan, I want to talk Harry Potter with him.:lmao:

Well, I never said I would Kellan would be the man of my dreams:rotfl2: just that I would be attracted to him first in a bar. (After a few drinks, looks are all that matter to a tipsy brain, sometimes.) :confused3  Rob would be the one I would want to whipser sweet nothings to me or have a candlelite dinner with - just don't see Kellan being the romantic type - he would be lots of fun though. And I have never seen pictures of Kellan smoking and kissing Rob would make me gag from the ashtray smell. And Kellan does seem to shower more than Rob - from what Rob says in interviews - which is always a plus. But the accent does make Rob sound better and he is a musician, which is always sexy.

Ohhhh me, ohhhh my, the decisions I face in my fantasy world of dating a famous younger man are very, very difficult indeed. Rob Pattinson vs. Kellan Lutz? Do I have to decide? And where does Jackson fit in to this? :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:  :hyper:

Rob smokes?? OK that's a deal breaker for me. I'll just have to stick with Jackson then. Unless he smokes as well and then I'll take Richard Armitage from the BBC show Robin Hood.

I know we've been kind of nitpicking the movie latley, so I thought I would ask a slightly different question: Is there anything they changed from the book to the movie that you liked a lot? Here is my list:

-I love that they're making lunch for her when she meets his family, and just the whole awkwardness of the experience. I also liked that Rosalie was there and you got to see a litle more of her personality that way.

-I like that Billy drives in the movie. Being in a wheelchair does not mean you cannot drive a car and that always kind of bugged me about the book.

-The whole Billy/Charlie relationship and the way they try to talk like the kids. (Just keeping it real.) I think it really added to both of their characters.

-It's not really a change, but one of my favorite moments is when Jasper and Alice hold hands in the Mercedes, even though it is two seconds long.

I COMPLETELY agree with all of that! Especially the last one. The thing with Jalice, (and I've gone so very in-depth about both of those characters, it's to the point of obsession) is that they only make physical contact like that when absolutely necessary. I.E, what's happening with Bella. They're relationship is only publicly mental, and them holding hands definitely added something to the movie! :thumbsup2

I think the reason I like it is that they remind me a lot of me and my boyfriend (right down to the height difference if you look at the Lexicon info.) We really are not into PDA and don't even really hold hands. He is also more reserved and quiet like Jasper, but I'm quirkier like Alice.

I always like their relationship and wish we could see more of it in the books. That's one of the nice thing about midnight sun, you get to see more of his family. I also liked the Flight (aka Shopping with Alice) and Extended Prom outtakes because you got to see more of Jasper.

Is anybody else really looking forward to seeing Alice and Jasper fight in Eclipse? They had better not take that out!

I can live with that!! Kinda like joint custody?? :confused3 :rotfl2:
Guess so! :rotfl2: I want summers!

Oh that's really cute :)

Page 301 in Eclipse made me CRY, because it was so cute!
"They laughed in harmony, soprano and bass"
THEY HAVE TO LAUGH TOGETHER. THEY HAVE TOO! :rotfl: And yes, when she ends up perched on his back "Gotcha!" :bitelip: That's so adorable, and I really want a relationship as deep as theres one day.

Here is the link to an interview yesterday with Dakota Fanning talking about how she hopes things work out with New Moon. http://www.mtv.com/movies/news/articles/1604021/20090130/story.jhtml

Funny you should post this because I thought of this the other night. I liked most of the prom scene in the movie better than the book. Although I liked it in the book that Alice and Jasper and Emmett and Rosalie all went to the prom.

And I loved the Jasper and Alice holding hands in the car also. It was a nice touch.

Oh yeah, I liked both of those scenes better in the movie than the books too. I love the music for the baseball scene. It is one of my favs on the soundtrack.

Something hit me that I always mean to post here but keep forgetting:

Did anybody else find it odd that Edward gets mad that Alice tells Bella that it takes 3 days to become a vampire? I mean, Edward tells her when he's telling her about Charlie (he kept hidden for three days.) It always amazes me that he doesn't realize he already told her the truth. I get the impression this part was not necessarily a surprise to her. Or at least it shouldn't have been if she was paying attention. It certainly wasn't a surprise to me.

Ok, according to Twilight Lexicon Alice is 4'10" and Jasper is 6'4". If anybody wants to know what that looks like in terms of height difference, here is an idea. This is a picture of my boyfriend and me at Christmas, and we are the exact heights of Jasper and Alice. The only thing is, in this picture I am wearing heels. :rotfl:

He's my own personal Edward. Even before I got him hooked on the series, he would say things that sounded like things Edward would say. :lovestruc

I love all of Shyamalan's movies. I don't understand why people hated the Vllage and the Happening. I thought they were excellent. I think the Village is my favorite one of his. Its so psychological. (And you can't go wrong with Joaquin!)
