TWILIGHT vampire book!!!!!

I can't hear a dern thing on either song with all that background noise. I detest that "Go All The Way" song. This isn't Hannah Montana, and what I can sort of hear from the two in the clip provided isn't inspiring confidence in the song selection.

Hoping the film is good despite everyone's effort to sabotage it with odd casting, ill-fitting songs and occassional deviations from the actual book plot.

I loved all the songs with the exception of "Go All The Way". I especially liked Full Moon, another song who's name escapes me and Rob's Never Think. I disagree about the casting, I think they did a great job within what they could (a few exceptions perhaps), not everyone will look as people imagine them, it's impossible. And the diviations from the book are VERY minimal, so much so that I hardly mind them and i'm very picky when it comes to that.

I've said it before, I think the movie will be good within what it is. Obviously it won't be a piece of cinematic brilliantness, but i'm not expecting that. Just a good movie adaptation about a book I love.

Dumb question regarding the series.

I just finished Twilight on CD from my library. C
Currently I am holding Eclipse and Breaking Dawn (I hear that one is horrible). It might be almost a month until I can get New Moonn. Do I need to read New Moon to start on Eclipse or should I just wait?

Hi there,
Do you mean New Moon?? If so, yes, I would wait and read them in order. Things change a lot in New Moon and might not make as much sense if you skip ahead a whole book.

Definitely read New Moon first. I wouldn't listen to what anybody says about Breaking Dawn. I didn't read any reviews first, just read the whole series in one weekend and I love Breaking Dawn. If I had to rank them in order of preference it would be:
Twilight
Breaking Dawn
Eclipse
New Moon

They are all very good, but I do think Breaking Dawn is one of the better ones. Just try to go into it with an open mind.

Okay, I do NOT like the new tv spot. First of all, I think they were better without any kind of voice over. Just having a voice over gives it a different feel. Second, the voice over makes it sound like some kinky B romance novel not worth the paper it was written on. I didn't see any new scenes (like the first TV spot.) They dropped the ball with this one, at least IMO.

There are 3 new scenes in the new TV spot. First, that very hot new shot of the kiss. There's also a scene of Edward in the parking lot, a new line at the prom, and Edward running through the woods with Bella on his back.

Hmm, need to be more observant! That voice over was irritating me so bad that I don't think I was reall ywatching the scenes at all! The other TV spot is much much better.

Definitely need to read these books in order. Just finished Breaking Dawn this morning, and while it wasn't my favorite (that'd be Twilight, Eclipse second), I still enjoyed the whole story! I've been reading the draft of Midnight Sun online, and I LOVE that one. Love, love love!

Also, I'm glad I'm already married. Otherwise I'd never be married after these books--my expectations would be far too unrealistic! I'd be searching for a freaking vampire..

LOL! I know what you mean about Edward setting high expectations. Don't know how I lucked out, but my current BF reminds me of Edward in so many ways. He's borrowing my book and we are going to the Twilgiht Lexicon showing in TN, an 8 hour drive for us. Now that is devotion!

I think that Rob makes a very good looking Edward (and I like his voice). I liked him in HP as well, but not so much scruffy Rob.

It's funny because when Lord of the Rings came out my girlfriends and I had a discussion about Orlando Bloom. Did we like him because he was Orlando Bloom or because he was Legolas. Our conclusion: Legolas. It might be that way for me with Rob. I like him because he plays Edward. He looks really cute to me in the restaurant scene.

Looks like Team Edward is the clear winner here.
