I am still excited for the movie... but GAH! Kristen Stewart is so freakin' BORING. She never changes the fluctuation of her voice or the lifeless expression on her face.

I know we've only seen short clips so far, but I am already wondering how someone as lovely and charismatic as Edward would ever hook up with such a stick in the mud.

I completely agree. And some of the lines she says are nothing like I imagined Bella saying them. Like the radioactive spider one. I thought she'd say it more like.. She was unsure of it, and kind of embarassed and asked it like it was a stupid question. And Kristen said it like every other line we've heard her say.

Wow, han't seen that one.

I know the book and the movie are never really the same. But I just hope her character isn't too different. For example, I saw a clip with Bella in bed with Edward. However, she was wearing panties. To me that is so not Twilight Bella (maybe BD Bella).

Hi again! I took a bit of a break from my Twilight addiction to feed my New Kids on the Block addiction, but with all of the trailers I am seeing lately I am REALLY getting pumped up again.
I said it awhile ago but Kristen annoys the you know what out of me. Does this girl EVER have emotion in her voice? Wow... If I had that hot piece of lovin' whispering those things in MY ear.... TRUST me.... I would not be all monotone and boring. Other than that, I am looking forward to the movie, very much.

I saw the trailer with Bella talking to Renee last night during the 11:00 showing of Top Design on Bravo. I was FF'g through the commercials and I had to back up when I saw Twilight.

Seriously. I was worried before, but now I'm convinced. Kristen Stewart was a lousy choice and may very well ruin the movie. I'll still see it...but I'll be trying very hard to ignore her poor poor acting.

I am still reserving judgement on Bella in the movie. She wasn't my favorite character anyway and it's hard to say with the few things they show on the clips. Rob on the other hand is doing a very good job with Edward IMHO. I was worried the voice would be wrong and so far, I like how he sounds.

He could talk me out of my granny panties anyday!

I guess I am in the minority. I think she is ok as Bella. It is hard to tell without seeing the whole movie. I have enjoyed her in other movies like In the Land of Women and Into the Wild and I think she looks the part. I was never putting a lot of stock into this movie anyway. Kind of like the Harry Potter movies...some are better than other, I'm just glad to have another way to experience the story. OTOH I think the guy they cast for Carlisle does NOT look like what I imagined...but whatever I'll still be there opening day.
