T'was the Night Before Christmas, Not an OUTLAW in Sight!..Updated 2/13

Lynn, you truly have a talent for writing. I was laughing out loud while reading your last few posts. That doodie video was hilarious!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Great update Lynn. And the dream fast passes--I would so be flashing those babies around to everyone. Do you think you did anything that caught the attention of the dream team so that you got them? I've only got 20 something days to go and I'd love to snag some for myself.

And did you say Soarin' wasn't one of your favorites. I feel this way too but am too afraid to post it with all of the ride fantatics going on and on about it. I just figured being from CA, what's the big deal with that ride.

Are we going to see Flat Lynn at all?

The mystery of Little Red story solved. Photos don't lie. I thought you left the outlaws at home.

Those OUTLAWS can be like hitchiking ghosts I guess.

Great update Lynn. Love all the pics. We've never been to AK after dark -looks nice! Yuck about the pool though I'm sure that happens more often than we know.

I am such a germfreak I have threatened to bring my own test strips for the pools and hot tubs but Tony won't let me!:lmao:
Lynn---that room is really close to where we stayed. I'll have to look for the rm. number!

I really liked POFQ. The view out our door was just beautiful. Everything was close because it was such a small resort. that being said , I think I liked Caribbean Beach better. I guess I am more of a tropical kind of girl.:cutie:

The chosen, DFP, how :cool1: was that!

That is how we felt! It really helped the feeling of superiority when people would point and stare and say "Look, they got DFPs"!:snooty:
PO French Quarter looks beautiful....

I love all of your animated graphics...cracking me up:rotfl2:

I am not big on Everest either. I think people hyped it too much and then it was big let down.

my fav will always be RNRC:thumbsup2

On to see what I missed....:cool1:

I think that was what happened--the hype. It was a very cool attraction but just not my favorite. RNRC is #1 and I'll probably be banned for saying this but I think I liked The Mummy better that EE.:scared:
The youtube video cracked me up:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I love the hot tub. The water looks golden or something and bumpy, hard to explain:rotfl:

Everest at night does look really pretty:goodvibes

I love your redneck photo:lmao:

I don't take credit for any of the smilies or video. That is all Tony!

While we were there we got the dream fast pass too for Epcot and it was nice cause my friend got so hooked on Soarin' so we rode it twice.
We saw the Dream Team the mopst at Epcot. Never at AK (but we got there late in the am) , Never at MK, Once at DS

WOOHOO for Dream Team:cool1:

Nice pic with the Dream Team...so, how come dh is not wearing red, like the rest of you? Wanted to be different:rotfl:

Tony is such a butt sometimes!:goodvibes His Mom got t-shirts for him and Brandon that matched to wear to DW. You can't really see them in the pictures but it is the red t-shirts with a picture of Ralphie in his cowboy hat and it has the caption "You'll shoot your eye out" . Tony refused to wear it and if tony wasn't going to wear his Brandon said he wouldn't either. So I ended up wearing Tony's. It was only three sized too big! But I wasn't going to disappoint his Mom after she was kind enough to buy them. I'll just tell her that Tony has eaten so many Mickey Bars that it didn't fit!:rotfl:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:thanks: Caddyshack is one of Tony's favorite movies so he felt compelled to include the pool incident!

I'm sure we caught the attention of the Dream Team and several other people throughout out trip :worried: :hyper: :bitelip: :rolleyes1 but I don't think it helped win anything! From what I understand they are just assigned a place and time to be there and you either get lucky or you don't.

Flat Lynn does make an appearance . Day 1 she was packed in the suitcase and Day 2 I just forgot all about her. She is so, well....FLAT that is easy to overlook her!:lmao:

Woo hoo on the dream fast passes! I'd be flashing them to everyone too! Seems like you really were so close to Monica each time - too bad you didn't get a chance to meet up. Can't wait for more! :)

Monica here! How can you get up at 7 and be on a bus at 8?!!!! I was up at 6:45 and on at bus at 9:15!!!!!!! Ha! Frazzled. Yeah just a bit! I wasn't ignoring you! I turned my phone off for Turtle Talk. I didn't want to draw attention to myself in there! (Hunter did that all by himself...:rolleyes1) So happy for you and the DFP!!! You should have sent them our way! You're right though. We didn't need them. We were there on the PERFECT day! BTW, Big red and Little red where part of the storyline on Tues 12/11!:confused3 Maybe you're PA wasn't working? Ready for more!

Everyone loves a good story, right? Well we are no different. Especially when you can travel around the world listening to a story from each country and sample some of the liquid refreshments at the same time.

We started in Mexico.
th_mexican.gif
We did the Mexico ride and shopped the pavilion. I was particularly interested in Tequila Cocoa

but to no avail. The kid behind the counter said they were out. In a side note: I found Tequila Rosa at Kroger! Haven’t tried it yet though. We took a slow boat to China

( actually we walked quickly) to hear the Monkey King

After that it was time to take the Monorail

to the Promised Land. ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo :tinker:
I’ll leave you with the tease that something else fantastic happened on the way!:goodvibes

Another good update. Can you use those DFP's to get to the front of the alcohol lines too? That would truly be a dream!!!

You did well catching the storytellers. We didn't get in as many as I had hoped. Hey! Check out the lady behind you in Mexico. She must not want to have her picture taken!:rotfl:

Maelstrom is a fun little adventure. Tony and I shared drinks that day, we didn't want to be toasted for MVMCP which will be coming up in our next post!

Thanks for the story teller pics. We didn't have the chance to see any of them this year. Looking forward to more.

BTW Tequila Rose is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! That is what I will be consuming in large doses on NYE!:rotfl:

Just a quick OUTLAW update:

Only one in jail!:cool1:

One forbidden from coming because she married into the outlaw family and even they think she is too much of an outlaw!:rotfl:

No fights!:crazy2:

Lots of dollar store and gas station gifts!:lmao:

All in all : a banner year!:yay:

So you told the outlaw's you were home!;)

I just found your trip report and am loving it! :goodvibes A lot of your vacation sounds like ours. We were in WDW Dec 14-21 with our two kids, 12 and 9. We took our children out of school four days before their vacation started. Like you, I was nervous about approaching the principals about it. :scared:

We also ran into the Epcot Dream Team and got the Dream Fast Passes! :cool1: We spent our Epcot day going from ride to ride. We never did make it all the way around the World Showcase. :sad2:

We went to MVMCP on Dec 20. I had read many reviews on the DIS about this event and decided that I would just have to go myself to decide whether or not it was worth it.

We had a blast! We rode our favorite rides several times. I made the kids ride the Fantasyland kiddie rides with me. I love Pooh, Snow, Peter Pan, and Small World. I think they do too, but they were too cool to admit it. The parades, shows, and fireworks were fantastic! pixiedust:

Characters were walking around everywhere that night. We met up with the Fox in the Aladdin carpet ride queue. He and my son teased and tormented each other. Then the Fox gestured that he wanted my son to ride with him. My son was so excited when he got off of the ride. The two of them continued picking on each other during the ride, fighting over the controls, which my son just loved. :hyper2:

One of the bear characters snuck up behind me and was making funny motions behind my back. He ruined it when he accidentally stepped on the back of my heel. I thought I was in the way of him getting somewhere he needed to be and apologized while I moved over. Well, my husband and kids were laughing their heads off while the bear acted like he didn’t know what was so funny. :rolleyes1 I got the story out of them.

A few minutes later, Captain Hook came along and tried to sneak up behind a woman near us. Someone standing next to her reacted to Hook, which tipped her off. She turned around just as Hook was about to startle her. He was very disgusted and disappointed and stomped away.

I hope your night at MVMCP was just as wonderful as ours! I would definitely do this event again. Please post more of your trip report! I am keeping the Disney spirit and excitement alive by reading your trip report! popcorn::
