The wait wasn't that bad and there are fish to look at while waiting. Lots of rides have waits this long. I think it was worth it. It was really funny.
In January, the wait for this was minimal and I'd give it a HUGE thumbs-up! It was one of my favorite things that we say - SO funny! In fact, I was just telling my mom about one of the jokes earlier today.
Well, I finally got a plan where the wait is listed at 15 minutes-- so, I think we'll go! Everyone's reviews are so positive, so it must be a good show! --Katie
We love it! In my DS's words "it is totally awesome dude". the last time we were there (Oct.- Columbus day weekend) we waited about 10 min. As others said it does depend on timing.
I loved Turtle Talk, very cute, we did it twice last May and only waited maybe 10-15 minutes.
Crush chose to speak with my fiance who he named "Swimming Scott" and throughout the show he kept making references to fiance, it was hilarious. We will be doing it again this may.
And I wanted to add my daughter got a kick out "Crush talking to daddy"
Our family rates Turtle Talk as much much better than Monsters Laugh Floor. Laugh Floor has an infinitely higher 'unfunny/awkward' potential than Turtle Talk.
I love the show, but my dd prefers not to see it. I think it has to do with when she was 3 and she was asked questions. We'll see if she is willing to go again, she is now almost 8 and 7 trips later.
Turtle Talk was so cute we saw it twice. The first time it was cute and even though we knew what was said, the second time around my son got to talk to Crush. It is funny and worth the wait. My then 3 yo cried and hated the Laugh Floor. It was ok but I personally like Turtle Talk with Crush better.
It's worth seeing once for sure, but my DD saw it when she was 6 and didn't care to see it this time when she was 8. Which was fine for me. The one we saw was really boring. I'm sure each show is very different, maybe we'll give it another try next trip. BTW, we LOVED Laugh Floor both times.
I don't remember the wait being difficult. PSA, however - my kids ended up sitting in front, close to the exit, and we ended up in the back, on the other side of the theater. The show ended, and the kids ended up leaving without us! Four of them stopped when they got out, but dd6 kept on going, and got lost for a bit.
The good thing about the "waiting room" is that you can always watch the aquariums and answer trivia on the computers or by the displays.
Trust me - as the only thing that has ever had my husband speechless (when the mic was put in front of him after DD pointed us out as her "parental units"), it will always be a favorite of ours!
def worth the wait..the kids had no problem waiting while they looked at the tanks. This was one of our fav attractions, even my 17yr old brother couldnt stop talking about it...crush was really funny...we actually liked this more then monsters inc laugh floor.
One more vote for Turtle Talk. The wait isn't that long, and there are things to do (as pointed out by the poster above).
If you truly enjoy the magic of Disney World, then I think you need to give everything a try and find out for yourself if it is something your family enjoys. Turtle Talk is amazing, and I think it will become a family-favorite for you.
