I have to go laminate all of ours...just put a piece of colored backing paper and all of a sudden the graphic appears to be matted.

Hi everyone,

Won't be writing much on the Disboards this weekend....gotta knuckle down and get to work on finishing those HUD grants. If the grant fairies are nice this weekend then I will have next weekend to make subtle changes, merge everything to pdf and click send on grants.gov. Please pray for some pixie dust for me...otherwise, this next week is going to be brutal!

Rob, got your check today -- thanks! Paula, I owe you a PM and I'll send that in a bit.

At 5 p.m. tomorrow it will only be 2 more sailings until the ship is ours!!!!! Yes, I see a margarita, some sun (that is if it still exists...we wouldn't know here as all it has done is RAIN), a nice lounge chair, a good book (maybe a bubble-gum book or a smut book...but still a book), sunglasses,.....ahhhhhh. Yep, that's all I need!

my son is 13 this year and when we were on the dc last year we found that you do not really register them and they can come and go as they please. we did go downstairs and get a pager so we at least had a way to find him when he was out of the club.

and how many boy/cub scouts do we have? I made it to the store after work last week and I got 1 set for the grandpa that is an eagle scout (council&arrow flap) and 4 more sets to trade - is that about the right number? or do we have more? for the girl scouts i just have a random selection of left overs that should work fine.

had lots of fun at the kids school halloween parades today.

and, after 17 years at the old job, being the unsuspecting new person at work, I went to work today in costume -duh - didn't realize I'd be the only one..... ah well, who wants to grow up anyway, right? and thank goodness the reorg today didn't affect me at all. it did however call attention to myself as the only person in the entire department in costume. did i mention i'm really glad its friday and i don't have to see these people again until monday??!!

and the weather held out for the trip to the corn maze with the daisy & cadette troops. thank goodness! it wasn't sunny, but it didn't rain a drop either

We have two Boy Scouts in our group, although I'm not sure if my friend's son is participating or not. We also have 3 Girl Scouts, but again, one is my friend's daughter, and I can't get an answer from them if they going to participate. I guess they are not an obsessive planner like me.
