It's raining...it's pouring...Karen broke her 6th umbrella this month (literally)! So, now I'm down to 2 golf umbrellas and a little bitty crayola one that I just found that Andrew had when he was 2!

When will it stop raining?!? This is the wettest October on record for St. Louis and I'm sick to death of having wet feet (and today....wet just about everything since my umbrella broke)!

Ok, I wanted to post since it's been a while. I have a lot of posts to catch up on!!!!


The wedding went well. No problems at all.The honeymoon was spent over in St. Augustine. Had a great 4 days!!! It's nice to be back. Now we are ready for the cruise. Now I can call her my DW Both sets of parents behaved themselves.

I will write more later after reading the many posts since last Thursday.

So tonite we got the official notice that Renee has been accepted to York College in PA - oh boy - now we need to find the finances to make it all work - which now has me in a panic!!

York was going after her from the get-go -- no application fee - no essay - just send your trans and do a quick online appl -- then they sent Charlie and I both emails saying - please be sure Renee applies - and then a few days later - we are still waiting for her application.... then do you want to come visit soon....so of course we are tickled pink over this -

but deep down I am crumbling -- this is my baby - my only - ehehe - she said she will wait to see what she wants to do - she is not sure if she wants to move 9 hours away either ....

Sigh-- how do parents do this.....

Well it was middle to upper 80s here today. It just doesn't seem like Halloween time with these temperatures. We are supposed to be in the lower 70s next week.

Lounge chair by the pool You have to get up pretty early to beat the chair HOGS at their own game
