Hi there everyone! I go away for a week (for work) and you guys move on me! LOL So much to catch up on! Today is my b-day and starting to pack for the cruise! Got my cruise docs handed to me last week by the UPS guy (what timing that was). Got my FE gift made and sent.. . can't wait for you guys to see! Saw the Cruise Line party invite. . thanks so much! I still have much to catch up on. . you guys have been busy!

Happy birthday. See you next Sunday.

Thanks!! That sounds like a great idea!! My only problem with the lounge chair idea...is right now I would need someone to actually help me sit down and get up from such a low chair!!

Okay, I didn't get much packing done I am so tired from the trip last week that I needed to sleep . I was down in Charleston, SC at the Army base down there working 11 hr days or more sometimes. Glad to be home and getting ready for the cruise. I won't be much good at work the next two weeks. I told them after Nov. 1st, I was zoning out to get ready for the cruise.

Susan - I noticed that the symbol for your 5 year old is a headache....that sounds like my Nicholas!!! I've heard that the 2nd child is the handful. Mine definitely is....how about yours?

Well the partial answer to the question a couple pages back is that the official Dismeet will occur approx 4pm or right after the mandatory drill ends, and just before/during the sailaway party. The location will be Deck 10 Midship starboard side (ie the side overlooking the terminal), and will be in the area where you can look down onto the stage under the Ariel screen.

Yes, he is trying at times. . but I love him lots!! He's the youngest, so it's hard to be a big boy and be the baby at the same time. Once he get's going he's great, but sometimes it takes a while to work through. Then, he is an angel.

I realized today when I bought 2 gallons of milk that I wouldn't have to buy more milk until after the cruise!! I get my hair cut and highlighted on Thursday and I'll get my Minnie Mouse pedicure next week. I've got to remember to pack my Starbuck's insulated cup and a zip tie for my FE. How was that for random rambling!!

Good night Turkeys!! Back to work tomorrow to try to get caught up for the trip. This combining two airlines is kicking my butt!!!

Glad to hear that I wasn't the only one who had planned on packing today and didn't get it done. Somehow, I'll find the time this week, I hope. I will be staying in Annapolis on Tuesday night this week but have a ton of work to do this week as well as lots of meetings. DH used to go to Charleston frequently at one of his old jobs. They did something with the simulators for the C17s. Talk about a massive plane.

Lisa answered already, but you can movce to a different age groupd. What you cannot do is change back in forth. In other words Monday afternoon be in with one age group and then monday afternoon another,

I will try to post the mini navigator this week. I think we are still planning our Bunco on Monday outside Topsiders. Laura will teach those what to learn to play. She has enough for several tables. We will also have the patch swap.

We will have the DISboard official photo for those who want to participate after the late dinner seating on Formal night.

Lindsey and Andrew want to host the Turkey kids thread pin trading on Officer Pin trading night I think on Wednesday evening.

A lot of informal meets just pop up.... Walking into the cruise terminal and seeing all those blue shirts is really GREAT !!!! putting all the names and faces together..

PSE version? layers?? Oh dear, I think I'm in trouble. did I mention I'm not a follow the directions person if they're more than 2 pages? I haven't the faintest idea what I did. I wonder if I could mess with it on a color copy machine at office depot at this point to come up with something that might work.

Jen - so sorry to hear the kids are still sick. Just talked to your mom and it sounds like its been going on since last week. That's no fun.

We just got back in town so I have to unpack the suitcases now so I can start re-packing for the FUN trip. I'm very jealous of you folks that are mostly done at this point!

Dh and I have made a pact that we won't buy any groceries except for milk and fresh fruit all month in an attempt to clear out the fridge/freezer and avoid nasty odors after the trip. We should be eating some very interesting combinations of food the next couple weeks.

Been reading a while again now, this board is smokin hot! hot! hot!

Been so busy trying to keep up with the house work, laundry, packing, etc.. Taylor had a swim meet today and did great! So proud, it takes alot of courage to compete like that. I couldn't do it. Besides I don't even think I could swim the length of the pool that many times in a row without an oxygen tank strapped to my body.

By the way, is it too early to be too excited to sleep?
