Can you believe we have less than 2 weeks to go? So little time, so many DisSigns to make!

So little time... working on a few requests and trying to keep up.. A few magnets will show up on various doors throughout the cruise....

Working on the DISigns always get us excited around our house.

Posting again to work on my 100 posts before we leave. I still haven't come up with a plan on how and when I'm going to tell my boys we're going. I can't decide if we should just leave later in the day on Friday so they would eventually fall asleep and not know how far we're going. The next morning put on their t-shirts that match the gang's and see if they read them or realize it on their own. They're going to complain about the drive more than anything! That's sad since we don't have to drive that far compared to some of you!! I would love to do the MVMCP the night before, but it's not a night that I can get a discounted ticket. On the 19th, I could have gotten the adult tickets for $36 with the military discount. Oh well.....

Hi there everyone! I go away for a week (for work) and you guys move on me! LOL So much to catch up on! Today is my b-day and starting to pack for the cruise! Got my cruise docs handed to me last week by the UPS guy (what timing that was). Got my FE gift made and sent.. . can't wait for you guys to see! Saw the Cruise Line party invite. . thanks so much! I still have much to catch up on. . you guys have been busy!

Today we are hosting turkey diner for family and friends. Also today is Rachel's 15th birthday We are all excited that in less than 2 weeks we will be sailing

Sheri-I was ROFL about the Raven's evening and the size of our Quarterback's hands. Too funny! Also, hope your son is feeling better from the H1N1 flu. Crossing our fingers over here!

Lisa- Hope you are feeling better. . we'll be right down the hall on the cruise if you might need anything - like a cool, frosty beverage. . If you have a medical note can you get a lounge chair by the pool??

We're definitely going to have to get our boys together! My Garrett is 7 and Nicholas is 5. I'm going to try to see if they'll let us move Garrett up to the next kid's group since we were just on the Magic in June and he's been there and done that!! I hated to separate my boys but they really didn't hang out together before. So maybe if our boy's hit it off, the 2 older ones could hang and out and Nicholas and Mason could pal around. Both of my boys are huge Halo fans!

For you magnet professionals.....since I'm going to have to print my magnets off at work on the color printer (won't be able to print on magnetic copier paper) should I laminate them first and then add the magnetic paper to the back? Do I need a laminator thingy or can I buy that myself and do at home? Sorry to sound so clueless!!

Sounds like a good plan! I wouldn't consider Garrett too shy but it wouldn't hurt for him to know a couple of kids before going in!! Our last trip they never wanted to go to the kid's club. Towards the end of the week, Garrett was really enjoying it and wanted to go. I definitely know he would love the Lab with the video games, dodgeball, etc.

Since it's about 75 degrees today, I thought I would wash my van and get it ready for the "Road Trip." I had to take a break to watch the Falcons play. At halftime, I'll go work on the inside of the van. I know next weekend will be crazy getting the last minute running around done so I thought I would take advantage of the beautiful weather. I'm also going to have to work hard at keeping the van clean until we leave!!

Can't comment on the laminate first or not before magnetic paper since I always print directly on Magnetic. But I can't imagine it makes much difference unless you plan to laminate the magnetic side too.

Regarding the laminator thingy, the best option is definitely with a laminator since it looks more professional. But I bypass that route and just bought some self-adhesive laminating sheets. It pastes right on top of the graphics and looks OK. I just have to be careful when applying it to avoid any air sockets. It took me a couple try before perfecting the process. Your mileage may vary. I'd suggest try one first before going all out.

That would be great Lynn!! Nathan never really want to go to the club in the past. I think he's bored with the activities and also no buddy to play with. Here's hoping fourth time's the charm.
