TS ADR for 2 year old?

Our DD just found out she and her four daughters will be able to go with us on our November trip, making ours a party of nine. The youngest of the bunch is 2 years old - do we need to include her in our TS ADRs, or can we just bring her along?

I was told that all (even babies) need to be in the ADR count.

Yes. The ADR count lets the restaurant know how many bodies will be at the table so they know what size table to seat you at.

Sharing is permitted if its not a buffet/all you can eat restaurant where they charge per person. But the count should be the actual number of bodies regardless of who is sitting on laps. Both for table size and fire codes.

You could also look for a party of ten. The robots that look for spaces don't see odd numbers sometimes...

Possibly you could get away with it with say, a newborn baby in a sling, but a 2 year old needs their own seat/high chair.

Even then the child needs to be counted. Every person needs to be counted, no matter how small.

When I took my 7 week old son who obviously couldn’t sit up on his own I included him. He’s a body at the table and needs to be counted

Break your party up into 2. You may need to open a new MDE account to do so, but you could also call. The CM will be able to book two ADR's at the same time for you if there is availability.
