Im camping solo at the Fort for 18 days from Jan 30th. I will then have another 25 days of camping solo in Orlando after the fort. Im trying to decide which other campsites to stay at and am hoping some of you can help me out in deciding which sites would be best for me.
It will be my first time camping in orlando, i am from the UK and will be buying most of my equipment after i arrive. I won't have a car so will have to rely on public transport to get from campsite to campsite.
The campsites i am currently looking at are.
Turkey Lake
Tropical Palms
KOA Fort Summit
KOA Kissimee
Lake Louisa State park.
Was just looking for a bit of advice from people who have stayed at any of the above sites and which ones they would reccomend and might be more suitable for me. Security and saftey is a big issue for me as i am staying in orlando for 9 weeks in all, so will have alot of personal belongings, park tickets, passport etc.
I would like to stay at 3 different campsites during those 25 days, but at the same time i'm thinking it would be easier staying at 2 or even just 1 so i wouldn't have to travel between campsites so much and lug all my equipment around.
I'd appreciate any opinions and what you camping pro's would suggest.
