If you want a good laugh, check out the reviews of Walt Disney World on Trip Advisor! They are hilarious....one example. Wild Kingdom was their least favorite park, other than the Lion King show its a waste of 80 bucks per day.

Here are two of my favorites:

During our winter hoildays we went to Orlando and it was perfect sunnier and hotter than England thats for sure. During our stay we had many trips out including a very special day swimming with the dolphins at Discovery Cove, such an experience. However as are fortnight of bliss was running out we decided to spend the day at Disney World.
Unfortunatly it was the biggest dissapointment ever, I remember going when I was younger when I was 10 or 12 and it was MAGICAL but this time it did nothing for us. First we thought it was not busy because the short que to get in, maybe because we got there at 2.00pm everyone was already in. Once we were in we went straight to Space Mountain to get our fast track tickets, they said come back at 10.30pm excuse me but thats not fast 8 hours later. To stand and que was a 2 hour wait, and once you used your fast track you can not get another fast track ticket for 2hours. There was simply too many people in there it was unconfortable, as you are driving in there should be signs informing us of the average que times at least you can then make your mind up wether you want to go in or not. I thought Disney was suposed to be family orientatted but all they wanted was the enterance fee and then they just leave you to it but there is nothing to do but wait for everything and wait such a long time it takes the fun away from the day. We went on one ride which was a good ride but a complete wasted day.

Beware: Disney World will drain your bank account as well as your sanity. I couldn't imagine hell being much worse. Do not, I mean DO NOT go, unless you are there only for the benefit of your children. I don't think i would even want to subject my own children to this type of torture, which they wouldn't understand anyway. Do not expect to have fun yourself, and there is not a chance for relaxation. There are screaming kids everywhere, heavy rude people everywhere, and the place is riddled with hidden advertisements everywhere you look(even on rides). Everything within the perimeters of this place was an advertisement for you to spend more of your money. It was very scary.
Disney is the ultimate wolf in sheeps skin. Most of you won't realize what has happened to you, but even if you do(as i have) it's too late... your money's been spent.

I'm a big fan of Trip Advisor but I take everything with grain of salt.

There is a natural bias toward unhappy customer's and the larger chain hotel's usually lose this battle of number's. More people, more problems, more complaints. The top three rated hotels: Inn New York City,
Casablanca Hotel, Library Hotel are very small compared to the Marriott Marquis.

Plus, if you are ON Trip advisor you are likely to take their advice and stay at one then post how happy you were to stay there, if that makes any sense. Sort of a positive cycle of popularity.

While I love tripadvisor, it is only a piece of the puzzle when planning. I do have to say, I've yet to be disappointed with a hotel that was highly rated. I stayed at a homewood suites without checking trip advisor once, because we always stay at homewood and it was awful. I looked it up after the fact and sure enough, it was not well rated.

We had a great stay in NYC on a hotel that was rated above average. I usually read the negatives and see if they have an real problems. My room was dirty and smelly hold more weight than, the lady at the front desk wouldn't give me a discount or let me stay 6 hours late.

I do the same. Although, I'd never had a problem before with Airport shuttles it was nice to be prepared for shuttle problem's at the Sheraton Philly airport.

TSW.... those are priceless. But best of all, I don't think I've ever seen writing where things had been lost in translation going from English-English!
