I have had MUCH help :worship: from disigners and planned out 24 shirts for our October trip. I went to Fed-Ex Kinko's to make my transfers today, and it FAILED!!!!! I almost cried in the store. The transfer paper burnt and got stuck in the copier.

NOW WHAT????? :confused3:confused3:confused3

Are you using an Ink Jet Printer and not a Laser Printer? My Iron on Transfers where for an Ink Jet Printer and could not be used in a laser printer. When I used the laser printer it got to hot and almost damaged the printer then I asked for help and found out I was using the wrong printer.

I had called them before hand to make sure I got the right paper, I went to AC Moore and made sure that I got the laser paper for a Canon laser printer and then had the man that had helped me over the phone help me again at the store....I am heart broken.

I have an ink jet printer that is very old and not very reliable unless it is just for B\W stuff that is not important (marks & such)

I never heard of transfers that could be done with a laser printer....let alone a copier! Did the Canon sheets have instructions to say that was possible? :confused3

Yep, the instructions clearly state - Not for ink jet, only use on Canon copier. I had to call around to even find them to do it this way b\c my home printer can't handle it. Even the tech at Kinko's said it would work, and he was the one who told me what to buy.

Hi hon
first i am so sorry this happened to you. i also have never heard of being able to use a laser printer for t-shirt transfer papers.
i have a cannon at work but the transfers i have can't be used in it.

here is a link which talks about t-shirt transfers.

Did the Fed Ex Kinko's take responsibility for the cost of replacing your product?
I'd also call or go back where I bought them and inquire.

Hugs Mel

I didn't even ask....I was just so upset...I went in ready to print only 3 to see how things worked before I spent to much $$$ on all the transfer pages and t-shirts.
