SUPER fun day with a surprise ... KATIE came with Allie too! Made Mimi and Pappy VERY happy! Speaking of happy...started morning in my happy place at the Christmas Store! Then lunch, shopping and Dollywood. Give me Disney World ANY day but cute Halloween decorations!

I love Christmas stores. Dollywood looks like it would be fun.

Store was beautiful and perfect for me! Lots of roller coaster rides so left us out and VERY crowded. It's cute but other than shows just roller coaster and kiddie rides...not much for old folks!
You'll never believe what I did today!!! Thought we were going to drive the circumference of the park BUT they decided it was HIKE day! Ended up on a 4 MILE HIKE that 'bout killed me! 2 miles that ended in Gatlinburg and then lunch and 2 miles back! Pretty but man was I struggling! The girls went on to hike on another trail but David and I went back to hotel. Dinner reservations at Paula Deen's restaurant at 7:30 and that's IT for me! Hopefully we'll be able to get Aggie game here tonight!

Really slow cell service last night and this morning! Dinner was awesome even after over an hours delay getting seated! REALLY busy plus Sara and girls were late...got "stuck" in park when Mama Bear and 2 cubs decided to play in the road! Restaurant is in an area similar to DT Disney; packed last night! Double check in line and meal...fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, creamed potatoes, creamed corn, fried okra and Mac and cheese. NOT healthy but...YUM! Apple cobbler for dessert!
