"Trial Run"...LOL

Okay, so we leave in 28 days. Today we are headed to our local zoo for a family fun day. I'm packing my "park" bag as a trial run (minus autograph book) today to see how heavy it will be. We are also going to try letting our 4yr old walk and see how tired he gets so we know which parks at Disney we will need the stroller for him at. YAY 4wks to go!!! I know this sounds crazy, but when my parents asked for us to join them today I was like "WOW Disney prep!!! SURE"...LOL.

Just for a heads u p there is more actual walking in a zoo day than there is in a Disney day!!! No rides and no 40 minute shows and rides at the zoo. You are on your feet all day long at the zoo, so take this into consideration when comparing the 2. They will probably get more tired at the zoo, I know mine did. And they walked from 4 on at Disney without any problems.


PS take a note of how much stuff you took and never even touched! Then remove it from your Disney bag.

Well, we realized taking our lunch is deff doable today. We just kept refilling our same water bottles and hung the cooler w/ lunch in it off the back of the stroller (its a tad bigger than an umbrella, but smaller than a full size). As far as the walking...our 4yr old did the entire zoo, but he is deff TIRED. He says his legs hurt and since DHS is our first day we are going to let him try that out walking. As far as the bag goes...thankfully everything got used. We did diapers, wipes, sunblock, camera, keys and granola bars. So, I think we can deff go w/ a lightweight bag this time.
