We have a rare lie in this morning as today is the day we are joined by our friends, Vicky and Des.
Although they are booked in on Magical Express we decide to surprise them by picking them up from the airport.
We have time to spare so decide to carry out an investigation into where we can stay very cheaply on our first night next year in a hotel very close to either a chillis or Fridays. We drive along I-drive and see a couple which catch our eye and make a mental note to check out when we get home to the UK.
We stop for lunch at Dennys (2nd time so far). Me and Kirsty have chicken wraps with a not so nice melted cheese. Once full we are off to the airport to wait for Vicky and Des.
As soon as we get to the airport I find the Disney Store and buy another Mickey dress. It is the one with a purple top and the skirt bit has a white background with pink mickey heads on it.
Their plane arrives on time only there is big storm and they have to wait on board for about an hour as the ground staff will not do anything until the storm has passed over.
Eventually they emerge and we exchange hugs and go to check them in at Saratoga Springs so they can have their own keys.
They must be tired but after they unpack and we have some drinks we make sure they carry on our first night tradition of going to Raglan Road.
Luck would have it Vicky loves boats (something I never knew even though we have been friends for 20 years) so she is for a treat this holiday as it boats, boats and more boats. The boats to and from the Treehouse are extremely pleasant and really made this holiday special.
We take the boat to Downtown Disney and visit the Raglan Road shop first so that I can get my St Patrick's Day Facebook profile photo
we are seated and order our drinks first before ordering our meal. I had a flatmate again, Mark and Vicky had fish and chips, Kirsty had some sort of chicken dish and Des had mussels
Suitably filled we leave and pay a quck visit to the cigar shop where the boys buy a cigar each.
The boat is caught back to the Treehouse where we chat and have more drinks before going to bed.
