Fory anybody using there Disney Visa Rewards card on the trip. They tell you that the transfer from your reward balance to the reward card is instant. NOT QUITE. It took mine 48 hours to show up. I am glad I did not wait till the night before (which I originally planned on) to do the transfer.

Happy Veteran's Day! Thank a veteran today!

Today we are packing Trying to pack light so we can get all of this stuff in my little Civic. We could use one of our gas guzzlers now that gas has come down in price but the engine lights are on in 2 of them and who knows where we'll be when one of those old cars breaks down! The Civic is new

I remember that car thread from a few days ago. I get a newer car and let DH take chances on the other 4 (yes we have 5 cars and 2 are from the 60's!).

Michelle I can't seem to get it all to fit in. Our smiley chins have been disappearing for a while.

you can try copying the code right next to the code for you thanksgiving picture and have it jumping on your ticker. Does that make sense. I know how to write HTML coding, but I suck at explaining it.

I gave Tim the figures for the 7 day WDW trip including the special rates. His comment was "If you book it, make sure it's not during my reading camp." No argument, no struggle, no complaint, nothing! So I guess I need to figure out the details and book!!!! He and DS do prefer WDW to the cruise. Go figure!

Congrats on a possible trip. It is not that warm here....but that is my perspective I guess if it is 29degrees where you live then it is boiling hot here. We are going to try and hang Xmas lights here today/

Ok, between my laptop dying and me getting into a book series, I have some catching up to do.

Shay ~ The pictures you posted look totally different than what I saw when we went there. Where are the cottages in comparison to the main building?

The beach cottages are right on the beach, behind the pool and near the entrance to the beach. They have 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, a kitchen, living room, and dining room. There's a balcony in the front and back upstairs and one in the back downstairs. Though that view is strictly of the mangroves. We have 2 other families we take with us on vacations often, so we had 13 people total in the cottage.

Your pictures are great, and your girls are dolls! How do you stay if you aren't DVC? I went online and checked out the site, but I didn't see where you could make ressies without being a member. Also, where would you fly in to--Orlando still or is there somewhere closer? Thanks so much for the pictures! They were great! I think we're just looking for a place to go for a weekend, so Vero Beach may be perfect if we can get it all worked out.

I'd try calling Disney's number. I didn't keep my brochure from Vero with the room rates and contact info.

Lisa and Mason are also back at the campfire this evening...while i conceed some of the singing is a bit too kitschy for me, I also am not a big fan of S'mores, but they are...I know, I can be branded a heretic, but while I like chocolate, I do not eat much of it.

That said, it has been a nice trip...we check out about noon tomorrow...but we are likely to return in the future...

We did notice not a lot of kids took part in the activities. The girls in our group were the only ones at the kids cooking activity. If I was just their with my DD, she wouldn't have done it by herself either.

You can look at info and book the Vero Beach and Hilton Head resorts at www.disneybeachresorts.com.

Also, just checked and it looks like our cruise is sold out! If you plug in November 22 on the reservations page on the DCL website, our cruise doesn't come up anymore - guess the cheap Cat. 12 rates worked.

By the way I was thinking of you as we ended up at the Steelers, Colts game. Cold but had a great time with DGD11.

I am hopeing to make meet but we have multiple families traveling different ways and DW says we are waiting for all to arrive before we board.

Cold snap has been a bummer and looking forward to sun and some warmth.

HELP----

I have a food question? Kenna is lactose intolerant. We buy Lactaid milk for her. She is ok with cooked milk in foods, it is the "raw" milk that she has problems with. I do allow her to have a small amount of ice cream occasionally, but she usually has a little more diarrhea afterwards. She drinks milk all the time. She will drink some water and a little sprite, but it's mostly milk. We go thru a gallon a week.

DCL doesn't have Lactaid. They have regular milk, rice milk and soy milk. Her pediatrician hasn't wanted us to use the soy milk.

Do any of you use soy or rice milk and is there a difference in the taste? I am wondering if I add Strawberry or chocolate powder in it. I may just end up buying a lot of pediasure. I know that she will drink it.

Any help out there?

Thanks for the tip- I will do our transfer today. Would hate to miss all those points that we have racked up over the last year or so...hoping to cover most of my onboard costs!

DCL has yet to call me. I was going to give them until Monday to let me know, but now I'm thinking I will call her on Friday if I haven't heard. I'll post the location as soon as I hear! Just pop in at the meet even if you can't stay long!
It's a shame Rothlesberger lost that Steelers-Colts game. I stopped watching at half time. I was a nervous wreck. I have to stop getting so worked up over these games. Three years ago I could have cared less. That stadium is nice tho, isn't it. A lot better than the old one!
I talked to my Mother yesterday and she said you guys got 4+ inches of snow. She had her driveway plowed and drove on out to dinner with the other 80 plus year old ladies! All this after my sister told her she spun out on Peninsula Dr. She is a teacher at Tracy Elem.and was on her way to school. Didn't hit anything, just shook herself up.
Lora - I don't have a clue about milk. I have a friend who loves soy milk but I've never tasted it.
