Judy, Thank you for all of the work that you did for the Meet. I hope everyone enjoys it. I have decided that our family will skip it and any other group activities. We will still participate in the FE's because I put alot of work into the FE gifts. I feel that we need to be a family and do close family activities.

Thanks for the list. My girls are counting on watching Bolt and HSM3 while on board. They see it as their own private showing. It does bring back the glamour of the old movie theaters without the price of the tickets. I am hoping Bolt is as funny as the trailers.

Chuck - I never went to a movie on board for the same reason you stated. I may break down and go see Bolt tho. It does look good. And Miracle at St Anna has me interested too but it should be out on DVD soon so I'll probably pass on that one.
Susan - Remind me to tell you about 2 cows (a Scottish Galway named George and a Longhorn named Nancy) that I became very close to. It's a very interesting story. I remember you said you have goats. Do you have a pygmy?

Good morning everyone! Another day closer!

Judy--we have four pygmy goats. They are pretty fun pets to have. We've also got chickens and roosters that my daughter incubated, so she's very proud of them. It's like a darn petting zoo around my house!

Michelle--when we figure out how to get the cows to produce that flavored milk, we'll let you know! BTW--thanks for the list of movies. I'm glad Bolt was on there!

I've got to get my assignments turned in and get to work. Hope everyone has a good day!

Ken,

When Brianna had her 12th birthday, we let her have a big sleepover with 13 girls. It was definitely a one time deal! I'm still scarred from it. Is Kiah pretty excited about the cruise? My kids don't act all that excited yet, but they will the night before we leave. They have been talking about it a little more though. They've known since March of 07, so I think that took some of the excitement out of it. But, I can't keep a secret, so what do you do?

We were laying in bed last night and I turned to my DH and told him that at that time in two weeks I'd probably be sea sick. Isn't terrible to dream about being sea sick and think it's a good thing?

4 was bad enough . . . I could not imagine 13 of them, but I am sure my day will come. The fun part was after lunch the next day when the tiredness really dets in and the little attitudes start to show.

Here are some of our Vero Beach pictures, for those interested. You don't have to be a DVC member to stay.

The 3 bedroom cottage we stayed in. It's right on the beach, but you can't walk to the beach from the cottage.

I love the vero pictures. I thought that place was much more of a hotel, I had no idea there were cottages. Do you have to be a DVC member to stay there?

Ken, how was the surprise? I know you are still in shock from all of the sleepover excitement. Ha Ha one of mine had a sleepover at one of her BFFs and I am on my way over to bring her home. It sure was nice and peaceful at our house last night!

My girls are getting excited but they keep asking if they can give the FEs to their friends and of course I relented and some went to the party last night, I have to get replacements today. Not sure how some of you are organizing them but I am going to try those accordian file folders.

The surprise to Kiah could not have been better. It took a day for the reality to finally set in. Both her and Reed wont stop talking about it now. I am so glad we waited to tell them, but we can finally talk about the cruise with her in the room. 2 years of keeping a secret was getting old.

I actually watched a movie on he last cruise...first time ever...i (personal choice) just find it hard to spend time watching movies i can see on shore when there are so many other things to do that are unique to the ship

Chuck, I tend to agree with you, but I am sure I'll have to take DD to see Bolt at some time. This is the first trip we are taking where we are limiting our excursions to almost nil. I have never had the chance to enjoy some of the fun little stuff the ship has to offer. Martini tasting, here I come!


Here we are one more day closer, only one more work Monday to go!!

So our weather here in Vegas has finally changed. Our high will only be 66 this is below normal too.
I will head to work and get to take off a few links to my homemade count down chain. Yes most at work think I have lost my marbles My best friend Stacie who is in the cabin next to mine sits behind me and she too giggles each time
My FE gifts are not in bags they will be loose and not tagged either. This is my first time to participate so I am still new to how you do it but I think it's the thought that counts right?
I went to go see Madagascar 2 escape from Africa last night. Very cute movie.

I just set up my mail and newspaper holds for when we're gone. Next thing on my list for today is to figure out if DS12 has enough clothes. There's no school tomorrow so we're going shopping and getting his haircut. That should be a lot of fun. Maybe if I bribe him with Taco Bell for lunch...

It's getting so close now.

Has anyone ordered stateroom gifts yet? I thought we were supposed to get a brochure with our documents. Is everything done online now?

The little booklet came with the package that has the thanks for sailing with us letter and then the little booklets of the shore excursions etc.

If you cannot find one online I can try and scan it tonight or tomorrow.

I actually make up my own little bag and take it with. Then while the husbands are all playing with the kids we go to the rooms decorate the doors and set the bags with a little welcome aboard from Mickey tag. That way I get the things we know the kids will like and it costs way less.

There is also I think the name is the Perfect Gift (I have it at home) company that does it as well. She is slightly cheaper then Disney even once you pay all the extra fees. I know my friends did that for their mom when she did the PC crossing.

I got a stateroom gift brochure with the initial cruise info sent a few months ago. It also had info about renting a tux. Are you thinking about sending me the pearl necklace?
I also wanted to thank you for sending me the link for the DCL pic of the day a few weeks ago. I go there every day and I am enjoying the pictures so much!

My TA is checking but according to the schedule, she should have gotten them on Oct 30... Sure hope they haven't gone lost!
