Did you guys see Cindy's DH Matt at the show last night? He was hlarious.

I didn't even see him on stage! I was in the spa and decided to finish packing. The girls came in and told me that he was in the show.

We are not home yet but on the way. We spent yesterday at Kennedy Space Center, the kids cried and cried after we left the Magic.

Thanks to everyone for such an amazing FE turnout! Wow!

I wonder what I will do now that this is over, this cruise has been my project for a long time!

I *did* end up succumbing to the call of the DVC. I had a little chat with the boys about the money I'm planning to spend on the Baltic cruise, and they convinced me to put it toward the DVC and let me use that same money again and again for all my vacations! The $500 shipboard credit didn't hurt either...



We went a little over budget, but I did basically all of my holiday shopping so I'm ok with that. It was totally worth it. The girls were wild, we were unstoppable (except at naptime) and we LOVED it! Who's planning their next cruise already??

We thought the same thing. We were looking into a Baltic cruise, but it would be 18k for our family with air. We figured for a little less, we could get 50 years of vacations at the DVC Contemporary and maybe one day use it towards a European vacation.

We did rebook Thanksgiving 2010 on board. We're thinking of going to Disneyland next year instead of cruising. Though both my kids are begging to go back on the Magic already. My DD9 wanted to take Wilson, our server, home with us.

Just some "Heinz products" to remember us Pittsburgers and I wanted to see you "glow" on Pirate night!!!

We booked the 5 day July 20, 2010. My thought is we'll add 3-4 days at WDW on the front of the trip. Both DH and DS were disappointed we didn't have more than 1 day at WDW before we sailed. If Tim wants to do a 7 day then we'll switch it to Thanksgiving 2010. He is still talking about what a good time he had and how he wanted a few more days on board. This is major for him. He was outside last night telling our neighbor how much he loves DCL and what a nice job they do! He also wanted to bring our asst. server Esther home with us but she will not leave Trinidad.
Still doing this since 6am.

Hi All!!

Got off the ship early and headed to Downtown Disney for a little shopping and a BIG tease!!!! Finally got in at 1:15 am. Left the bags at the door and hit the sheets! Now laundry is getting done as well as food shopping!!

It was great meeting all of you in person after talking on line for such a long time. Shay...I hope my family wasn't too loud!!

Sandy...I'll get those pictures to you. Hopefully they came out nice. I was a nut trying to get the right picture. I'll email them to you as I still don't know how to post them here.

Judy...It was so nice meeting you and dear ole' Billy Bob. Such a lovely personable couple.

Susan...sorry our girls never got the chance to meet..but I'm glad we had the chance to.

Cindy...your husband was HYSTERICAL on stage the last night. He clearly took the attention away from the jugglers for the moment. We were laughing so hard!!

And of course to my family memebers that I got to choose....Cheysdad and love2travel....we had such an amazing time together with all of you. So many new memories to look back on as well as lots of photos....will share them with you when I get them on line...all 1000+ of them!!... I truly meant every word that I said on Thanksgiving... and I will always be thankful for Disney and the Disboards for bringing us together!!! We'll see you next weekend!!!!

Well we had a great trip too and for those who have been before, other than the first few hours on Saturday, have you ever seen smoother seas or better weather? We were already booked for July 4th 2009 and Thanksgiving 2009, but will almost certainly eventually book for 2010 Turkey Day too.

It was nice seeing fellow Dis'ers with practically every turn of the head...rarely were we anywhere where we did not know any of the other people around us between those on this board and those with whom we were having dinner ( we were part of Michelle's 20 person group).

The FE's seemed to go very well and we got lots of exercise as we chose to deliver small groups of items daily, but that does not mean we did not appreciate those large packages either. Mason, loved checking the FE every time he returned to the cabin and I think we had nearly 2 drawers in the desk filled by the end of the cruise.

For any who have not seen it, I posted a daily trip report...had to have the computer time for work email as well.

Now back to the mundane...groceries...etc...

We arrived back to 29 degree weather at 1 am. So far, we've done NOTHING today, except pick up the dogs and the mail. I'm still rocking and expect it to last a few more days. Agh!

We all had such a great time! Cindy, your dh was absolutely hilarious. I'm sorry you missed it. I was laughing so hard!!! He seems like a really fun guy. I enjoyed talking to both of you. Wish him luck on the 13th!

Thank you all so much for the great FE gifts. They were all wonderful and clever. Sinderelli, I LOVE the cups and no one will even notice the spelling. I thought they were a great idea. Susan, I had to break out the CD one night when I was getting ready for dinner. My kids were dancing and loving the song choices. Lora, thank you so much. I kept meaning to stop you and thank you personally, but everytime I saw you, you were busy. I saw you taking pictures of Kenzie with her blanket too. It is beautiful. Did Melinda have fun? I saw some great pictures of her with the characters in Shutters. I hope she enjoyed herself. Judy, your FE was awesome. I took dd to see it (she's a big Ariel fan) and she just stood there staring at it! Glad to hear your forgotten money will be sent home. That must be a relief. Cindy, the chocolates are so delicious. I hid them from the family. They will go in my own private stash (although I may share a few with my mom's group on Friday, just to tease them a bit, ha ha). My kids loved the HSM flavored spray and have had more fun with that. Thank you to whomever left it. And Sandy, I had something for you but didn't have a great place to leave it. Can you email me your address and I'll send it?...

Michelle, thanks for posting the link to the photo release. I was just coming on to search for it.

As some of you may have seen, our elves did arrive while we were onboard. They were brought out by our head server on Formal night, on serving plates and covered by domes. DS thought it was bread and pulled the top right off. It was a big surprised and worked perfectly. The first night in the stateroom with the elves, they toilet papered the place! Another night, they took off and had pictures taken of themselves all over the ship. One photo had them "attacking" two of the crew at guest services. We saw the guy the next day and he told DS that the elves did visit them the night before and pinned him up against the wall. He was hilarious. In another photo, the elves were sliding down the banister, with the DVC guy pretending to slide in the background. DS was convinced that is was Cory from Cory in the House!!!

I'm glad to be home and will now have to try to get back into a routine before Christmas and New Years throw everything into a tail spin again.

I just remembered that we left 2 photo mats at guest services for signatures and never got them back. They told us they would be delivered to our stateroom on Fri. I guess I'll be calling DCL lost and found again! Did anyone else leave something for sigs and have them delivered back to you?
I cannot tell you how unusual this is..... Tim has been walking around all morning talking about what a wonderful trip this was and how he liked meeting everyone. This does not happen!!!
Getting ready to drop off my film (yes, I said film!). My camera is underwater and is very old school. When SuzyMouse picked it up to take our photo the look on her face was priceless as she said "What's this?" Tim had the digital!
Watched the film of the dolphin swim last night. 140.00 for 8 photos and the DVD which lasted about 10 minutes and half of it is just stock shots of Dolphinaris. As Tim said "Stupid tourists. I think we've been had!"
Cindy - I missed your DH but Tim saw him! Tell him he's a star! I think I saw him running on CC though!

Judy, I dropped off pillowcases and had them delivered to our room Friday night. The only problem was that we asked for all the characters and they were only signed by the Princesses. DS is less than thrilled, ha ha.

Cindy, tell your dh to quit his day job and go into comedy! Too bad you can't find someone who taped it. Maybe you can find it on UTube!

They were so nice and took them. They were returned to me later that night along with an autographed picture or the characters (which are now in the possession on my niece and nephew who couldn't come on the trip with us).

I'm sure you'll get everything shipped to you!

I hope your pictures come out great!! Love that camera!!

WE SURVIVED the Amtrak back. I just got caight up in the boards. I feel like I am still moving. The conductor definately didn't let anything get in his way coming up the tracks.

I stopped at Costco and downloaded our memory cards 1408 pictures--$208
They should be ready tomorrow then I can start scrapbooking

Shay...I hope my family wasn't too loud!!

LOL! I was worried about the same thing. Paige started crying in the middle of the night one night and I was worried it would wake your family up. Those walls must be pretty soundproof since I only heard the opening and closing of the doors around us.

I was glad I made it to the meet so that I was able to recognize everyone when we met the rest of the cruise. I also got some nice goodies in our FE, though we didn't participate officially in the exchange. I did have my DD and her friend deliver a bunch of candy to everyone on the list during our first day at sea. Now I wish I would have done it since I missed Judy's mermaid.

Ken - your secret is still safe with me.

Judy, I got my photo mat back late Friday night. I am soooooo happy with it. It's probably my most favorite thing I got on the cruise and all it cost was $3.37 for the mat and a bag of Dove chocolate (which I think really helped). Here's all the signatures:
