Well happy vacation Ed!

Sorry about complaining then running away yesterday afternoon. I was getting this chaffing that was really not pleasant. Now that everything has been defrosted, I have had my daily dose of chocolate, and I have become extremely adverse to the sound of popping balloons, I am ready to get going today.

How would you all like it if I took you all over to my neck of the woods - well at leats my vacation neck of the woods and we all took the limo out to Cocoa Beach?

Sounds like fun! I went to Cocoa Beach once or twice when in college (a million years ago). We always had fun there.

Don't I have great taste? Doesn't Crab Heaven look like a 5 star gourmet restaurant that we have all become accustomed to? Its a ton of fun - pitchers of beer - messy crab (or shrimp or steak if you prefer).

IRL I was at the Docs yesterday afternoon for my first prenatal exam - I have a due date of February 9th, pending further ultrasound review. AND, now this is the good part, the nurse told me that if I haven't had morning sickness yet I probably won't get it! WOOO HOOOOOO.

Hey suzannen! I have a hard time at funerals no matter how expected or how long and wonderful a life the person has had. My best friend's grandmother who raised him just passed away this weekend - I am dreading the funeral. I never used to be this bad but its still pretty raw for me after losing my father this past December. It seems to dredge up all these emotions and to top it off I am a hormonal wreck anyways with the pregnancy.

Cocoa Beach sounds like fun to me! Haven't been there since I was 10 years old. Will there be Bloody Marys served in the limo?

Since you lost your Dad so recently, in December, I'm sure the funeral will definitely bring on enormous emotion (and the hormones won't help), so make sure you take a lot of tissue and a shoulder to lean on.

On the lighter side - great news about the morning sickness!

We will definately be needing those - if there is one thing I hate about driving out from Orlando, its the Bee Line - one very boring, lonely road out to the Space Coast. It takes about 45 minutes and you will know we are getting near when we start going over the bridges and remember to look to your left and try and see the Magic or the Wonder in dock - clearly visible from the highway if they are. We then can watch them sail from the beach or the pier.

Posting stuff like this is very dangerous, apparently I have been craving crabs and lobster. I couldn't figure out for the longest time what I wanted to eat - I just keep trying different stuff and finding out, nope that's not it. I call it my non-cravings - I'm starving but can't figure out what it is I want to eat. NOW I KNOW and the worst part is that I can't do anything about it.
