FYI-Tomorrow night the Travel Channel has a new show called "Inside Orlando's Resorts". :teeth:

I am satellite dish challenged, but I think 8:00 central time? :confused3

I live in Washington, DC and my cable provider, Comcast, does not offer the Travel Channel. I have written to Comcast to request that they add the Travel Channel to their line-up. I encourage anyone else in the Washington, DC area to do the same.

I am sorry to hear that you do not have that channel! I live in Mass and have Comcast and I do have that channel (66). I wander if your Comcast is different than ours. That is odd.

Polkadotminnie- Thanks for the heads up! I am laying in bed right now (very comfy) with my brownies and my glass of water waiting for the show to start.

Your welcome! It was nice to see some of the other resorts in the area.

the right up talks about "resorts you may not be able to afford"
anyone watch it last night? what did they do? is it worth taping
as it comes on again.
Inside Orlando's Resorts

Amid Orlando's resorts and theme parks exist chic and unique getaways that offer a chance to luxuriate in peace. Travel off the beaten path to Orlando's plush spas, luxury suites, and upscale golf courses that may be too pricey for the average tourist.

It had the Royal Pacific, Ritz, Hyatt, Gaylord palms, Marriott, and Westin. It was very informative.

I watched it last night. The piece on the Grand Floridian was lovely. They showed glimpses of the lobby, the rooms (suites), the monorail platform, the beach, the grounds, Victoria & Albert's, the Grand 1, the pool, and so on. They even showed a small glimpse of the Wonderland Tea Party and the Pirates Cruise, which I thought was great (my daughter was disappointed that they didn't show the Grand Adventures in Cooking Class, as that is her favorite children's event).

If you have the chance to catch the show, please do so. It made me wish I were back in Walt Disney World, ~sigh.~
