Transportation from the Fort

Sorry if this has been asked 1001 times but on our other stays we have had a vehicle and were not dependent on transportation, so I haven't paid much attention. Now we have a motor home and must rely on Disney to get around. I assume for Studios the best/quickest way is the internal bus to the front and catch the HS bus, correct? What about for touring the resorts for Christmas decorations, specifically Boardwalk and Beach Club? We will boat to MK to go to the Grand Floridian by monorail. Should we then just take the bus from the MK to the resort we want? Are there any other resorts that have must see decorations?

Although we have our tow vehicle, we take Disney transportation everywhere on site.

When we resort hop for anywhere other than the resorts on Bay Lake or 7 Seas Lagoon, we usually go to MK or Disney Springs and catch a resort bus from there. MK is a little quicker for us since we try to stay in the 100 loop and don't have to take an internal Fort bus to get to the Outpost or the boat dock.

Like anything else at WDW, don't get in a hurry to get anywhere and enjoy the ride.

We take Disney transportation everywhere. Whether it's the buses boats or monorail. Sometimes it takes a little longer but when I'm at Disney I'm never in a rush to go anywhere.

For Fort Transportation
. . . use the boat for other resorts, by transferring at MK
. . . use the boat for MK
. . . use the boat to CR, then monorail for Epcot
. . . use the buses for all other parks and Disney Springs

* There are few resort-to-resort buses, so you need to transfer at MK.

Thank you! That's pretty much what I was thinking (except for Epcot-didn't think of that) but it's nice to know for sure from the expert!
