Transportation from Long Beach

I'm planning our October vacation and need to schedule a shuttle or car for ground transportation between the airport at Long Beach and Anaheim. Who do you use for this service? SuperShuttle? I also thought I remembered reading about an affordable private car service that would also make a stop at a market for groceries. Any suggestions?

When we went we found it was cheaper to priceline a car and keep it for the trip then to take the shuttle. But we had 6 people and free parking at our hotel.

We used Zippy Shuttle. They picked us up in a private van, took us to a grocery store, and then took us to hotel. They were prompt picking us up both times. Drivers were very nice.

Our price was $110 for 4 people with the stop, roundtrip.

You can use "my guy" Ron ~ his business card says VIP Service (Kim Sontha Transportation). The number is (562) 396-8106 (company number) OR the number where he has always answered is 562-895-6713 We've had a Toyota Highlander & Lexus SUV for our past trips. He's great ~ this past July his buddy Jefferson took us from the airport to our hotel and Ron took us back to the airport ~ Jefferson's # is 909-754-5822

We've had as many as 5-6 people *sometimes just 2 or 3* ~ I pay him $45 + a $5 tip each way.

**We have stopped at a grocery store for a quick shopping trip a couple times.

Do not use the shuttle service located outside the airport (little booth that says "shuttle") they took us to the hotel and scheduled to come back to take us back to the airport and never showed or answered our calls.

The taxis located outside the airport are flat rate $45 and they do have vans if you have more than 4 people.
