We are cruising on the Wonder Dec. 16-19. We then will check in to the WL from the 19th thru the 24th. We first thought we were driving, however plans now look like we might get to fly down. I'm wondering , if we fly down late on the 15th, where would be the best place to stay the night.... at a WDW value resort, or should we stay closer to Port ? Also, will Disney transportation take us to Pt. Canaveral should we stay at a value resort, even though we didn't do a land and sea package through them, ( We did it separately on our own.)
Next, would it be possible to leave the extra luggage we don't need on the cruise with the WL to hold for us until the 19th?
Sorry so long.

Alot of folks Stay At the Port...

Rent Car A Car Drive To Port and Drop Off There one Way Rental If U Decide To Stay There...

If U Should decide To Stay At the World Yes U Can Get A Ticket
For the disney Transportation There are Several pick up Locations At the World

Not Sure of Them All ust Call Disney Cruise lines And Tell Them u Need Round Trip Transfers....
or u TA Can have Them Added..

WWW.Dcltribute.com Go there and Look under Rentals To Find Out the Rental Companies at the Port..

If u Have a Family of 4 It Will Be less expensive to Rent than disney Transportation...

It is an Easy Drive To The port Area Would Recommend the Radisson resort at the port.. Should Be able to Get For about $100.00 or So...

DCL could transport you from a value resort, but you'll arrive at the port MUCH later that way, and Palo and Spa ressies will already be well underway. Usually DCL starts picking up at the resorts around 11:30 or so, and usually makes it to the port around 1PM or so, again depending on pick-up time. Personally, since you're getting late the day before your cruise, I'd just stay somewhere at the airport. You could either stay at the Hyatt, which is right in the airport, any of the off-airport hotels with shuttles. You could just shuttle back to the airport in the morning to catch the DCL bus there. If you choose to stay at the Port, you'll have to find your own transport to that hotel, as DCL buses won't be running then. Usually getting a car service is the best bet there. None of the WDW hotels will store bags for guests who have yet to check-in due to space constraints and security issues. You'll have to bring them with you on the cruise. If you end up flying, once you make your hotel reservations for the night before your cruise, call either DCL or your travel agent. They can make the arrangements for all the transfers you'll need.
