Tragic day in my Town

A 16 year old boy in my son's school Killed himself this afternoon. His friend found him. I am so saddened and distraught that this poor young man thought he had no reason left to be here nor anyone to seek help from. When he could not have been more wrong. The kids are all taking and crying together and wishng the same things we wish for... That we knew he needed help.... that we had been able to help ..... If only>...
I had a hard time trying to find the worlds to make my son feeel better but tonight there are none. There is not an explanation or an answer or a reason. This boy was the star he was always happy his friends say he was always smiling and laughing.. |
Sooooo SAd that under tha smile were tears and fears and sadness that no one knew ........\
Hug you kids and love them try to make sure they know they can always talk to you. and if they feel they can't let them know there is always someone they can talk to . Friend, teacher , Coach, Guidance, aunt, uncle. etc.......... SOmeone I wish this young man had known the truth that you can always make it better as long as you give yourself TOMORROW

so sad. Here it is the end of the school year, you think most kids are so happy. I always feel bad for kids that don't think they have any future, they have no idea whats in store.

So very sad, antbritt. Seems it is rare that kids today are able to grow to maturity without a friend somewhere along the years taking their own lives. Why do they lose hope? My prayers and good wishes are with all those affected by this tragedy, God rest PD's soul. A for your boy. Hope the kids all come together and learn from this, as well as all parents.

It's very sad when this happens. Perhaps they're too young to know that help is available and there is light at the end of the tunnel. No situation is ever hopeless.
