I saw that show, that rivaled Hilde in the just plain awful category.

he-he! great description of that room! I remember saying to DH when we saw that show that it looked like a grave site!

I didn't follow the link, but think I posted on that room a while back.

Usually Kia does a halfway decent room but with bad things in it that can at least be eliminated. At least she's never covered the walls with hay or with thousands of fake flowers! At least not yet!

I think the wallpaper borders that Kia chooses are just plain hideous.

Yes - the room was at least salvagable. I just had to LOL at this description that someone posted in response to an inquiry about what the room was. I'll quote it here and give credit

It was a nightmare created by Kia.
Picture this, it's late at night and you are staying in a friend's guestroom. You awake and realise that you have to tinkle. You push aside the astroturf coverlet with plastic flowers entwined in it and sit up.

Oh NO! Your hair is tangled in a giant magnolia branch that serves as a headboard.

You free yourself and step out of bed onto astroturf covering the floor. It feels slippery and cool on your feet.

You make your way toward the door, but oops you trip over a six inch cement garden border that bifurcates the room. You attempt to regain your balance, but you fall, hitting your head on a miniture wooden swingset and land facedown in a pile of gravel.

Disoriented, you crawl across the floor, attempting to pull yourself up with the assistance of a rickety screen made of picket fence.

In doing so, however, you knock over a precariously balanced doll house, that falls on you.

Your thought, as you lose consciousness, is "I hope I made enough noise to wake up my friend. Hopefully they will find me before I create too large of a bloodstain on the pink carpeting on this side of the room."
