trading reservations??

Hi all! Quick question for you all. My daughter has a reservation made for October at SSR. I want to take over that reservation using my points and giving her points back to her. Is there any way I can do that? I know I can try to make a reservation and have her cancel hers but I'm afraid that there will be no availability when I call. Anyone have any ideas??

I don't think they could could change that ressie.

Perhaps you could transfer the points directly into her account, then MS could re-allocate the points in the ressie to use the points you transferred to her, thus saving her points. It wouldn't hurt to call MS and ask.

Why not just have her call and put your name on the reservation, then the next time she wants to go, you call and make a reservation for her with your points? Two trip, call it even. It would save a lot of hassle for both of you.

But if this is because of the expiring points, that won't work. Your only hope would be to call and see if they had availability. If they did , make the reservation, then have her cancel hers.

have you called and checked availability before her cancellation time has expired? You may find that there is availability and you can make your reservation and all she would have to do is to cancel hers.
I tried switching once, the way you are talking and I was told that I could not but that was at BCV during the summer and I guess they had to meet the wait list satisfaction first. Good luck.

Just confirming that you can't do that. If there is a waitlist for any of the days, it wouldn't be fair to those members on it.

The only way you can use your points for those days depends on availability. If there is availability, you can make the reservation. If not, you can't.

Sorry. You'll have to find another way to use the points.

It would not be fair to the other members for MS to just sub your points for hers and they will not do this. Now if there is availability for part or all the time, you can accomplish the same thing but you'll need to have separate reservations and then link them.
