Trading event?

There is a trading event starting in 30 minutes. Do the host trade rare pins? Do you have to trade them an equal pin? I'm looking for an ATIS mighty eye pin and was wondering what I have to offer to get it?
Also if you were to trade them a firework magic pin would they trade you a better magic pin, like inferno or snowman?

Phinny is trading haunted mansion set, pirate jolly roger, host pin, and the animal pins. You just have to trade a pin worth 500 credits from the emporium.

You never know which pins the HOST will be wearing. I'm in line for it now,
and I'll report back which pins I see.

You must offer pins that were sold in Emporium Specials for 500 credits.
You can only request pins they are wearing on their lanyard. No Eye pin,
no magic.

To make the trade fast to keep the line moving, I always just say the pin
name, "please". Then I put up my pin as the HOST puts up hers.
No chitchat, as the HOSTs want things to move quickly.

Thanks i'm trying to get in. So the special halloween bat pin and pumpkin pins are they ones we trade to the hosts? Or can it be other series?

it can be any series but why wouldn't you trade the pumpkin pin since it is able to be bought right now.

If I can get in that is what I will do but I just wanted to be sure, i don't know how these events work it's my first opportunity to try to get in. No luck getting in so far.
