My nephew and I went to the Walt Disney Company 2010 Annual Shareholder meeting in San Antonio, Texas and I'd like to share some photos with you. I hope you enjoy them.

There were lots of pretty fountains in the city.

There were lots of quiet areas in the Alamo.

The Hyatt Regency reminded me of the Mel Brooks movie - "High Anxiety"

We stayed at the Marriott Rivercenter - very nice.

My nephew and I did a Segway tour of the city - a great way to visit a new town.

The Boss was outside greeting guests, but was not allowed inside the meeting!

See ya next year!

Thanks for sharing- gorgeous pics!

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay in our city.
Your pictures are great! Living here makes one tend to forget how pretty downtown can be. I need to get over there once in a while.

Did you get to ask a question, Mike? Can you give us your impressions on things they talked about?

Thank you, everyone.

I chickened out in asking anything.

This was my third shareholders meeting - the first in the Iger era. Mr Iger's speech was a lot of company propaganda. Mr Pepper's speech was more business. He seemed to be very well respected.

It was interesting to see how some people came prepared to ask questions. The man named Mike from Orlando (not me) who was so passionate about bringing back Dreamfinder and Figment had a multi page statement written out. He was a few feet from me at the microphone and I could see he was doing his best. It was sad to see people laughing at him.

I got a little emotional at one point when the soldier who returned from Afghanistan thanked Disney for everything they do.

All in all, I think Iger answered everything really well. I was also impressed by Mr Rasulo's answers. He was sitting on stage. You could tell he knew the business well. He did hint that the ability to make multiple dining reservations at WDW would be fixed.

Mike,

Thanks for the report and pictures. It looks like you had a wonderful time. I've never visited San Antonio, but I hear wonderful things about it. The Riverwalk area looks amazing.

What a beautiful and interesting place seems San Antonio, after this pics I would be considering seeing the city if I ever get to return to the USA. Thanks for sharing the pics!

Thanks for posting your pics! I love San Antonio! My best friend (and fellow Diser) lives there!

I love the Texas Mickey head you have in your signature! Where can I get one? :)

Thanks for the pix Mike. Its been a few years since I've been to SAT. May have to make a detour on the next trip to Houston.

Mike, did you find the basement of the Alamo?
