53 degrees...that isn't as bad as what it was when we went in '08, right after New Year's. The first day we were there it was warm but then FL went through a cold snap and it was 30! I swear it was colder there than it was at home!

Have a great trip, Megan!! At least the forecast for Fri - Sat & Sun is still showing in the 70's ..... but it keeps getting colder and colder for Monday!!
Off to finish packing. We'll be in FL by noon; I know it won't be warm tomorrow but it will be a lot warmer than where we are now (low tonight is 16!) Maybe we'll run into you somewhere in Epcot on Saturday ~ we'll be there off and on. The only definite is ESPN in the afternoon to watch the Army/NAVY game.

Thanks!! It is true. We'll see what we like better 80/90 degrees or 50/40. My vote already is for 80/90!

Thanks! Same to you! Our plane lands at 6:33pm and then we'll have to take DME to POP for the one night stay there. We'll probably go to DTD tomorrow night after eating dinner at POP. It will be nice to not have the feeling of unpacking since it's for just a night!

WHAT TO PACK??????

What to pack has been the theme of tonight!

At one point I sat online with 4 different screens of weather sites trying to compare and contrast their forecasts!

I've finally settled on my outfits and packed from about 7:30pm-10pm. Everything is pretty much packed and ready to go! I'll have to throw in some things tomorrow but other than that it's all set to go!

I was going to post pics on the packing but figured I'd leave them for when I return! Let's just say that at one point, I couldn't see my bed because of all the things on it!! I've packed everything from Tshirts, shorts, capris, long sleeve shirts, pants, hoodies, fleece, and my "one step from a winter coat" from Columbia...along with a hat and gloves.

The greatest accomplishment for me is as of now, I've only packed 2 pairs of shoes: flip flops and tennis shoes (sneakers for all you other "people!") I might throw a pair of crocs in. My mom got me some crocs with fur. I told her size 9 but they seem big and taking them to WDW and trying them out to find out their too big is a gamble so I'll probably take my regular crocs and wear them with socks if need be

Tomorrow will be a rushed day! I'm working 8:30-1, rushing home, changing, and leaving for the airport just after 1:30. I'm going to get up around 7, maybe earlier and finish packing and doing last minute things before I head off to work.

That's pretty much it!! If you'd like to follow along with my FB and we aren't friends yet, PM me your info!!! Between my blackberry and Itouch, I should be able to be online. I really didn't want to lug my laptop with me just for free wi-fi on the plane and I doubt I'd use it much at WDW since they don't have wireless anywhere it seems!

--I'll be back next week to finish up the Oct trip and to start the Dec one!!!

HEY EVERYONE!!

I just wanted to say that I'm back! The trip started off really rocky but ended up being okay! Even though it was more freezing than warm, we managed to do some of the things we wanted to do and there are even a few twists in there such as..

did we ever make it to a rope drop while there???!!!!

I'll be back this weekend to update the Oct TR and maybe start the Dec one! For now, we're trying to figure out why the sound in our TV downstairs does now work..hm..

HI DIS FRIENDS!

It seems like forever since I've posted an update! I had to go back and look at my chapters to see where I left off

We had a great trip in Dec. It started off pretty rocky with a bug situation at POP (which I'll explain) and it ended with a family member coming home with bronchitis but all in all it was a good trip. It had it's tear-jerker moments as my bro reunited with former friends/co-CMs since this trip was to see him for early Xmas but you all know how that turned out!


I'll be doing that TR in the thread as this one as soon as this one is done! I figured it makes it easier for people and it will all be one thread!

Now for Oct update!






A LUNCH AT EPCOT AND MORE FOOD AND WINE RIGHT...OR NOT?

When I left off, we were leaving AK and heading to Epcot for lunch at France! My friend D who works at CSR (who did our awesome upgrade!) was meeting to eat with us and her DBF. I've heard stories and stories about seeing Remy but would we??

The plan was to eat at France, walk around a bit, try some food and wine stuff since we didn't on Sat due to the huge crowds and then head back to CSR to relax and get ready for the night at MK!

We checked in at France right on time!

We were seated right away and we all ordered drinks. I got an iced tea! Then I was torn...go for the short ribs like I did in March, get my profiteroles dessert, and pay for the soup OOP or try the 3 course option with the sandwich which includes the apptz and dessert. I went with the 3 course option!

As did M, J, D's DBF, and I. D went with the short ribs..would I regret my decision..


Ya, I pretty much did. I'm not a huge cheese person and the sandwich was good but had a ton of cheese on it. I pretty much ate the meat and that was it.

Dessert was two thumbs up again!

As we were waiting for dessert guess who came!

I didn't see him in March and I didn't see him in Dec but I did see him in Oct!

After lunch we parted ways with D and her Dbf and decided to sample food and wine..but then decided we were too full so in our 4 day trip, I only tried 2 adult beverages at food and wine and that was it! I'll blame the DDP on that but I'd rather have the DDP IMO.

We headed towards the front of the park and decided to do SE:

When we were on the bus, I got a call from J's and my friend "B" who is an elephant keeper at AK (formally worked at the kids clubs with J and I at AK) and she said she was heading to CSR to meet up with us for some pool time before MK!

J and I rushed to the pool with our suits to meet B!!

It was a happy reunion in the hot tub at CSR! After 2 hours, we said bye to B and headed off to get ready for MK! We we got back to the room, M was passed out. J wanted a mickey T so we headed to the CSR gift shop!

By the time we got there, we were hungry so off to Caseys we went! I got corn dogs, fries, drink, and cotton candy! Sorry, no pics!

Wishes started shortly after that!

After Wishes, EMH started so off to the rides we went! We wanted to go on SM soo badly on the party night but didn't. Would we get wet??

First we got stuck!

And yes..M and I got wet!

It was good times though! We ended up leaving towards the end of EMH. I stopped into GR to get my AP The CM was great and said the CM outside of MK should be hit for giving me false info as far as it wiping out our DDP! Anyways, I paid the additional amount for the pass (around 300 I think) and had my shiny new AP!

We headed to bed when we got back to CSR...

Would I use my AP the next morning before leaving for home???

What would win, AP usage or the pool???
