Toystoryduo's Journal....Moving Forward From Here

Thanks ladies.

Got the WATP 3 Mile Power Walk in and Zumba Flat Abs. Earned 5 activity points with those two workouts!:thumbsup2

Food has been okay today. Right now, I'm at 27 points after subtracting my APs. I hope the scale is kind tomorrow. ;)

I had Hostess 100 calorie cinnamon streusel coffee cakes for dessert. They were pretty good and only 1 WW point!:thumbsup2

Right now, we don't have any plans for the weekend and I hope it stays that way!:wizard: The past few weeks have been sooooo busy! :faint:

Hope everyone has a nice evening!:grouphug:

Woo hoo, you are the Workout Queen!

Those 100 calorie snacks sound yummy. A nice but sensible indulgence.

Congrats on getting the workouts in!:thumbsup2

and a little extra pixiedust: that you have a nice, quiet weekend.

Tracy: I am sending good wishes for weigh in! Its sounds to me like you have had some definite hormonal things going on this week.

I was thrilled with Shaun White's medal and how well he did! Did you see the men's figure skating last night? Loved that too.

Have a good day!

Good morning ladies,

The men's skating last night was awesome!!!:thumbsup2 I was really disappointed in the scores they gave Johnny Weir though. :( He skated one of the best performances of his career!:thumbsup2

Weigh-in was not bad this morning. Only a .2 pound gain. I'll take it!:goodvibes Food has been all over the place this week and I definitely think that's due to TOM's pending arrival. I'm going to try and get back on track and keep exercising and hope for a loss on the scale next week.

Today's Plan:

* Go to work with my DH (He's working next to a bargain type store with great deals! He'll earn the money...We'll spend the money!:thumbsup2 )

* Go out for lunch

* Work on our to do lists

Hope everyone has a great day today!:grouphug:

Forgot to add.... We got our Give a Day/Get a Day vouchers for the Project Linus blankets yesterday!!!!

Yay for the free park tickets!!! :cool1: And only gaining 0.2lbs when TOM is pending is great too! :thumbsup2

Have fun spending while DH is working! :goodvibes

Free tickets...woo hoo! They said at the media event that 600,000 people have participated already. I wonder if they will expand the million they committed to giving away.

Sounds like the weigh-in went very well. That is practically no gain at all.

:woohoo: for the tickets. Goodness that was quick.

 for the very slight gain. Well, I don't mean  you gained, but  there wasn't any. I mean, .2? That's holding your ground. Perhaps something you had on was heavier than what you wore last week. ::yes::

Smart thinking on going with your DH and shopping while he worked. You saved gas carpooling.:thumbsup2

Good job Tracy- keep up the good work! How does the voucher thing work. You volunteer and they give you paperwork to send to Disney?

Linda

This pre-TOM stuff is for the birds! I think that this is the worst it has ever been. :( Add in some stress, ANOTHER snowstorm coming our way, and cabin fever and I just feel blah. :( Needless to say, food has not been good and I'm just not in the mood to exercise. I'm glad tomorrow is a new day and hopefully, a better one.

Amy~ Thanks! I didn't spend much at all yesterday because I couldn't find what I was looking for at a price I was willing to pay. That's okay though because there's always a next time!:thumbsup2

Barb~ Thanks! That's amazing that 600,000 people have signed up to volunteer already and it's only February. :cheer2: Imagine what those numbers will be like by the end of the year!:thumbsup2

Lisa~ Thanks! I never thought about that, but we did save money on gas by carpooling!:thumbsup2

Linda~ Thanks! We signed up for our volunteer opportunity through the Give a Day/Get a Day site, completed our volunteering, the project manager verified our participation, and we received an e-mail that our vouchers were ready to print at the Give a Day site. (You have to setup an account.) We printed the vouchers yesterday and put them away in our Disney folder for our September trip.:goodvibes

Good for you not buying anything just to buy it! :cool1:

I hope your TOM issues go away soon. I agree - it stinks! :guilty:

Tracy, to me that weigh in is a victory. We all know TOM/PMS can add 2-3 pounds on when you have been behaving, so if you gained that small amount, in all reality, you probably lost weight this week. And when TOM goes bye bye, you'll see a nice loss.

I hear you on the snow and blah. Its cold here, foggy, about to start snowing again and spring just feels a million miles away.:sad1:

Great job on not impulse buying and glad you got your park tickets!

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

I'm feeling a little bit better now. :) Since the weather is slightly better than it has been, the kids are outside playing and my DH is outside working on the car. I had a couple of hours to myself. It was nice. :)

Plans for tonight:
* Drop MIL off at work
* Trader Joe's, Dollar Store, Walmart
* Work on deals for tomorrow

While in my punky, "I need a vacation right now!" mood this morning, I started thinking about maybe doing a Disney trip for DH's birthday next year. It's a very, very preliminary thought right now. I'll work on some numbers and see what I can come up with.

Well, that's about all from here. Have a great evening, everyone!:grouphug:

.2 with impending TOM is NOTHING!! You are doing AWESOME!!

Glad you got your vouchers. I'm still waiting for a 'volunteer' job to come open here. The only ones so far are for a baseball league about 40 miles away and you have to make a commitment for 1x/week thru their season. Just too much too far!

I"m in the 'I need a vacation' mood, too! Wish I could at least be planning something. I'm actually waiting to hear from my DSis son who is getting remarried in June as they want me to find them a honeymoon. Will at least let me plan!

Hope the storm misses you and you have a good rest of the weekend.

well done on no gain Tracy .2 isnt even a glass of water ;)
TA have just released some prices for wdw next year - soooooo expensive lots on the uk forums saying they cant justify the prices anymore & considering not going for a few years :(

Ah, nothing cures a sour mood like planning a vacation! I think I just might have to do the same thing! ;)

Did you get the fiber cakes at TJ's?

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

We had a really lousy evening last night. :( It started off with some very rude customers at Trader Joe's, then the car broke down, and then we dealt with a very rude worker at Starbucks. I was angry, frustrated, and crying on the way home. :( After we got home, my DH fixed the caliper on the other car and we talked about the experience. By the end of the evening, we were able to laugh about it, but it was certainly not the kind of evening we had planned.

Today's Plan:

* DH is working on both cars.
* Hopefully, head out to Target.
* No drug stores this week! :( (Deals just aren't there.)

I stopped counting points for the weekend, but I will get back on track tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday!:grouphug:

Julie~ Thanks! I hope they open up a volunteer opportunity out your way soon!:goodvibes

Tracey~ Thanks! We're just in the preliminary planning stages of a March 2011 trip. We have to work on getting a budget in place to see if it's do-able or not. How much are they saying prices have gone up on the UK site?

Amy~ Thanks! Can you believe that we walked out of Trader Joe's WITHOUT the fiber cakes?!?!?! :eek:After dealing with some very rude customers, we were ready just to get out of there and I totally forgot about the fiber cakes. :( We did get some DELICIOUS lobster ravioli and oatmeal raisin cookies though. :goodvibes I think the next time we go, we'll go during the week and NOT on a very busy weekend.

Yikes, sounds like one thing was piling onto another. I'm glad you were able to end up laughing about it. We had something like that at Epcot the other day. A family was blocking the bag check and I had no bag so I said "Excuse me" and went by (it was the side entrance so there was only one way in). All of a sudden I hear her totally going off on me in some kind of delayed reaction as we were already way past her: "How rude! How rude! You're rude!" I said, "I don't have a bag" and she started screaming, "Then you keep to go in somewhere else!" I pointed to the chains and fence and asked, "Where?" and she just continued her tantrum, with even the bag checker telling her to stop. Hubby and I finally just started laughing as we walked away, and we joked with each other about what a 'special' day her and her family were going to be having if she was such a nutcase before she even got in the park.

I do have to say that I'm envious that you have a Trader Joes. That's one store I really miss here in FL.

Good luck with the points this coming week. :goodvibes

Hi Tracy, I hope your weekend ended on a good note.

Glad your weather got a little better so the kids could get outside. a little :wizard: that your DH was able to fix the cars.

PS - I'm always "planning" another trip. The dreaming parts really helps some days go by better.
