Toystoryduo's Journal....Moving Forward From Here

Tracy, I hope your weekend settled down a bit and you got to enjoy the rest of it!

I probably missed your post regarding WW.Are you doing it on your own, or attending meetings? Right now I just use the materials as reference since I'm just striving to be healthier. I'm thinking about attending meetings once my treatment is over.

Have yourself a great week!!!!

Thanks ladies. :grouphug: The rest of the weekend didn't go much better I'm afraid. :( Car troubles and other stresses just seemed to keep adding up. Trying to move past the weekend and move forward into the week....

Today's Plan:

* Homeschooling (DONE)
* Zumba
* Birthday party

I feel like I have kind of hit a wall for the moment. I didn't count points this weekend and I'm not feeling all that motivated to count points today either. :( I will workout today, but getting back on WW is harder than I thought. My DH thinks it's related to TOM and said to give it a couple of days. I hope he's right because I'd hate to un-do all of the weight loss that has already been done. :guilty:

Hope everyone has a great afternoon!:grouphug:

Tracy, I hope you find the strength you need to get back on track with counting points. Remember, take it one meal at a time - you don't have to waste the whole day if you mess up, just get right back on track. I know it's easier said than done, but I know you have it in you to succeed! :cool1:

Hang in there. :hug:

Woohoo on another $100 applied to your next trip

sorry to hear the winter blah's have you -- I have a rough time with winter...so i can relate

hope you get your weekend to yourself, and great job on your workouts - and you're almost at your rewards goal

yeah on getting your give day/get day ticket vouchers

ack, sorry to hear about the rude people - i hate rudeness - but glad you were abel to laugh about it later

we all have days like that...hang in there...sometimes when PMS is around, it's such a struggle to just keep going...i want to throw it all away at that moment...but usually pull myself back to reality...how about just switching things up for the day to change your pattern...breakfast for dinner, lots of small 1 or 2 pt snacks, just do it different than you usually do to make it feel fresh

Tracy, there is nothing worse than when you need a Monday to recover from your weekend. I hope today was a good one.:hug:

We all hit those WW blah's. Its hard to stay motivated week in and week out. Some things I do to help with that are, try new WW recipe's. If you need any ideas, let me know, I have some ww cookbooks and I can access the site and send some to you. Sometimes spicing up the food routine helps. I also sometimes buy soemthing new to help me with lunches. Like a new flavor of wrap or deli meat (got dill flavored turkey a few weeks ago and it was so good). Just anything that will help you to want to eat healthy.

You can do it, don't get discouraged! And I do think your dh has a very good point about TOM. We all know that makes us tired, blah and craving foods that are sometimes not the healthiest!

Hang in there!:cheer2::grouphug:

Maybe you need that two-day break. Just be sure to set a goal as a touchstone that you definitely WILL return to your counting at the end of that time. Write it down if it helps to see it in black and white. I can sympathize because it was really hard to get back on track after the media event. It's soooo easy to use temporary setbacks or breaks as a reason to go longer...and longer...but you've made too much progress to do that.

Thanks ladies.:grouphug: I didn't get back to counting points yesterday, but I did make some good food choices and I did get my Zumba workouts (50 minutes + 45 minutes) in yesterday! :thumbsup2

Speaking of Zumba, I did Zumba Fitness Sculpt and Tone (45 minutes) for the first time yesterday. It was a good workout! :thumbsup2 You're supposed to use Toning Sticks with the workout, but since I didn't have them, I used the end weights of my FIRM sculpting stick and that worked quite well. My muscles are feeling the extra work today!:thumbsup2

Today's Plan:
* Homeschooling
* Work for DH
* Library
* Get the Disney gift cards I was supposed to get for the past two week. :blush:
* Target
* Rewards Programs (almost at $100!)
* Disney Meeting with the family (March 2011 discussion)

A busy day, but manageable. :goodvibes I'm also going to write down points today and consider this the beginning of my week. I need to get back on track.

Hope everyone has a great day!:hug:

Congrats on rocking that second goal! :cool1:

Great job getting those 2 workouts in! And improvising with the weights. :thumbsup2

Tracy
Sounds like today is going much better for you. :goodvibes

Congratulations! You have made your second goal for the month and Super Member!:woohoo::banana::cool1:

:cheer2:And your training is rocking!:cheer2:

Come on Tracy,you can do it. You know you can.::yes:: Everyone needs a break every now and then, especially when things go so wrong and get completely off track. Sounds like you have found your way back today. :yay:

Really, congratulations on getting Super Member. I know how hard and timeconsuming that is. :flower3:

Congratulations on making Super Member! :thumbsup2

Its never too late to start the week fresh and with doing so much Zumba, you are probably in better shape for the scale than you think.

I hope today was a great day for you, you are back on track and moving forward!:cheer2:

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

I'm a very frustrated person right now. :mad: I can't do school with the girls because my DH is taking an online class at our kitchen table, the girls are arguing over the dog, the dog went potty in the house, TOM is here, my rewards programs are dropping paid clicks and lowering survey amounts, my DH didn't drop off a bill yesterday that needed to be hand delivered (just found out!),and I've had two people be completely rude to me for no reason at all. All of this and it's not even noon yet! UGH!! :mad:

Food was okay yesterday. I used two flex points, but I'm fine with that. I did WATP 5 mile walk yesterday as well. :faint: That was a long one!

I am hoping that the day starts getting better soon. :(

Have a great Wednesday everyone!:hug:

this too will pass...hang in there....take a deep breath...in a few hours, things will have changed some and it will be behind you

:hug:

Hang in there, Tracy. :hug:

TOM makes everything seem so much worse than it is. Try to step back, take a bubble bath or something else that calms you down. Things will get better. :wizard:

Ugh! What a way to start the day! Hopefully that means it can only go uphill.

Whew, a five mile WATP? That sounds killer. Good for you!

Tracy,

I hope the day improves. Some days it can feel like you are the lead star in a play about the aggravations of life! Just hang in there and I hope you get some time for yourself before too long.:hug:

5 mile WATP, that is a long one! I am proud of you for getting that length of workout in when you have so much going on. Good job!:thumbsup2

OMG, Tracy! What a day you've had!!!

I love the 5 mile WATP. I think I have 2 or 3 different ones of that length. Which one do you have?

So, SR is cutting back just when I'm finally getting into learning about it? That figures!!

Hope your week improves!! I wonder if NetFlix has any Zumba DVDs??

Thank you so much, ladies!:grouphug: My day did get much better after I posted! :)

I didn't realize until late this evening that we are expected to get a major snowstorm over the next couple of days. :( They are saying up to 2 feet of snow is possible!:eek: I'm hoping my DH gets home early from work so we can get all of our running around done before the snow hits. I wish I had known about it sooner because I would have gotten it all done today instead. Guess I should watch the news more. :blush:

I saw on the SR forum that the surveys are only going down 10 cents a survey. I can handle that! :goodvibes I'll just have to shop more to make up for it! ;)

Hope everyone has a great evening!:hug:

Good morning friends,

The sun is out for the moment, but the snow is coming. Every time I watch the news, they keep adding an inch or two to the total snowfall amount expected. :( I figure if I turn the news off and leave it off, maybe the snow won't come. ;) A girl can dream, right? :goodvibes

Both girls woke up not feeling well this morning. :( I'm giving them the day off from school. I imagine they'll have the day off tomorrow as well if the local school district calls for a snow day. Since they're homeschooled, I know I don't have to give them the snow days off, but it's fun for them to wake up and hear that they have a snow day just like kids who go to school.

Today's Plan:
* Walmart: groceries and dog food
* Workout: Zumba
* Rewards Programs
* Work for DH

We're going to sit down tonight and go over our very tentative plans for WDW in March of next year and over our budget for March of this year. I need to work on my goals for March as well.

Hope everyone has a great day!:grouphug:

that's fun they'll get a snow day too

ours has been falling since about 8am and it's wet and heavy snow..booooo

hope you get your Zumba in and your goals planned
