Toystoryduo’s Journal: Baby Steps are the Key... Celebrate Each Victory!

Believe me, Tracy, I know how it goes!!!! I'll be praying. You just focus on feeling better & taking care of those little dolls!!

Thanks Julie.:hug: I hope you're feeling better soon, WISH sis!:wizard:

Yesterday, I managed to get a good workout in....The FIRM's Super Charged Sculpting. Can I just say that I am extremely sore this morning? That tells me that I haven't been working out for far too long.

Today looks to be a more relaxing type of day. I think we'll try and hit the grocery store and do some store hopping....Maybe we'll be able to find some deals on things we need or could sell on eBay. Here's hoping!:wizard:

Hope everyone has a great weekend!:grouphug:

Glad you got that workout in, Tracy! Hope shopping went well & you also got to relax.

Have a blessed Sunday!! Are the girls better?

Thanks Julie!:hug:

Hello WISH friends,

I'm sorry I haven't been posting or getting to journals as much as usual. I have a lot going on at the moment. I'm working on organizing, helping my DDs with school and my DH with work, and getting a routine in place. I've also been cooking a lot more (one of last year's goals) and doing a lot more couponing and CVS-ing. On top of that, the Lord has placed it on my heart to work on some issues that I have had for years now. It's not an easy process, but one that I think is essential to my overall well being. With that having been said, healthy living has not been a priority. I have managed to eat more fruits and veggies and to up the amount of water that I am drinking, but exercise and weight loss have been almost non-existent. I am hoping that in the next few weeks, I can get back on track and lose weight. That is vital to my health too.

Today's Plan:

* Homeschooling

* Babysitting

* Finish Laundry

* Disney Planning (?)

Thanks everyone for sticking with me and for your words of encouragement and support. I appreciate you all!:grouphug:

Have a good day!:goodvibes

Don't get to busy to forget Tracy time, ok!?!? And if God is telling you to do something, that is the priority.....the others will fall into place!!!

Have a great week!! You know, I can actually say now that I miss homeschooling! Busy as it was....

Have a great Tuesday....almost HUMP day!!

Hey Tracy---Sorry to hear that things have been hectic...hang in there! WTG for eating those fruits and veggies and more water...I need to do that more myself! You will get back on track, I have faith in you!

I am jealous of your Disney planning! I just got back last night and I already want to go back....no new trips planned as of right now...I am hoping to sign up for the Goofy next year so that may be my next trip, but nothing definite yet!

Thanks Laurie!:hug:

The next few days are going to be very busy around our home. Our DDs have decided that they would like their own rooms now. So, we'll be moving a lot of stuff around and do some painting and fixing up of the two rooms. I think this will be good for both of them because they can have their own room with their own stuff now. Responsibility for their room and their things will belong to each of them individually.

Today's Plan:

* Homeschooling

* Cleaning

* Research for work

* Brainstorming ideas for the girls' rooms

I am hoping that moving things around will inspire us to clean and get organized. I have such a hard time thinking and being creative in a messy home. Maybe I'll find some more stuff for eBay too! :banana:

Hope everyone has a great day!:grouphug:

Good morning friends,

We'll be busy this weekend decorating rooms and moving furniture. The girls are excited to have their own rooms and I'm happy because we will be cleaning and organizing at the same time.:thumbsup2

For the next couple of weeks, I am going to make an effort to exercise more often. I'm not going to set any goals until February, but I really need to get moving again.

We also need to get our Disney trips planned for 2008. I have estimated budgets for both trips, but we need to plan more specifically. Maybe this weekend?

Hope everyone has a great weekend!:grouphug:

Hey there! Sounds like you have a busy, but fun upcoming weekend! Disney planning... How fun!!! :)

Stacie

Hi Tracy,

It sounds like you will be very busy for the forseeable future. What are your plans for the rooms? I love decorating kids rooms. I did my daughter's, neice's, and nephews' rooms. We want details.

Take care,
Beth

Thanks Stacie and Beth.:hug:

We have a busy weekend ahead of us. We are starting the re-organizing of the girls' rooms and we will spend some time today shopping for accessories and maybe dressers. The girls are very excited about getting their own rooms!:banana: :banana:

Today's Plan:

* I have Mom Time at church. DH will start moving the big furniture around.

* When I get home, we are going shopping!

* We'll come home, get some more work done, have dinner, watch a couple of DVDs, and call it a day.

Tomorrow's Plan:

* Church (We're teaching 4 year olds tomorrow!)

* Brunch?

* painting (depends on how far we get with furniture moving and cleaning)

That's about all from here...I am really looking forward to getting these projects done. Hopefully, it means a lot of cleaning and a very organized house!:thumbsup2

Hey Tracy-I hope you have a great weekend! Sounds like fun! As much work as it will be moving the furniture and getting organized, it will probably be fun. I try to do this every now and again, I like the change!

I can only imagine how excited your girls must be to get their own rooms!

On top of all that, you are going to do some Disney planning too! Now that is the really fun part!

Have an awesome weekend

Thanks Laurie.:hug:

We have DD7's room finished! She really likes it and is already telling her sister to stay out of her room. :rolleyes: :lmao:

DD5's room won't be finished until next weekend. We were taking some stuff off of the walls and we took some drywall off. So we have to fill the holes, sand them, and then re-paint the walls. Add a ceiling fan and some High School Musical decorations and we're all done!:thumbsup2

I really need to get back OP with my workouts. I know I have gained some weight in the past couple of weeks and I don't feel as strong as I used to. :( I've been thinking very seriously about adding running into a new workout rotation. I need to do some research on running. :confused3

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!:grouphug:

Hey, Tracy! Congrats on already having one of the rooms done! What are the themes? Are they both HSM?
I am sorry I haven't been around, but I am glad to hear that things are so good in your family and that the girls are becoming more responsible for their stuff and their space!
I can't wait to hear what you decide about adding running into your exercise rotation and whether you enjoy it. Be sure to keep us posted! Maybe one of your next several WDW trips will revolve around a Disney race! :woohoo:

Thanks Cam!:hug: Both girls rooms are High School Musical themed. :dance3: They are both looking forward to buying their HSM accessories when DD5's room is done. :banana: Thanks for your words of encouragement!:hug:

Today has been a good day for the most part. I got a few things done at home, earned $10 in ECB at CVS (and will get a $7.99 refund in a few weeks), and only spent $50 on groceries this week!:banana: The huge downside to the day was that DD7 got hurt by stepping on a broken piece of glass. She is doing well, but is in some pain. She's pretty active so I am sure that she'll be up and about tomorrow.

I looked into the C25k program and got a little overwhelmed....I loved the idea of the C25k podcasts, but I don't have an Ipod.:confused3 Thinking about using a stopwatch to time the walks/runs of each session kind of stressed me out. The Ipod thing is great, but I don't have one. I don't have good running shoes and as for the special running clothes to keep me warm during the winter, I am at a total loss.:confused3 I will try and do some more research at some point, but I may wait until Spring.:confused3

Right now, I managed two workouts in the past two days for a total of 80 minutes. It feels good to get the blood pumping and the muscles working again!:banana:

We did a little Disney planning this weekend. We're going in September for 6 nights/7 days on the Bounceback Promo. (free dining) So far, we have decided that we will go to Epcot and maybe the Magic Kingdom for MNSSHP. Our meals include: Le Cellier, Boma, Kona Cafe, Chef Mickey's, Liberty Tree Tavern, and one more to be decided.

Well, that's about all from here. Hope everyone has a great evening!!:grouphug:

I can't wait to see pics of the rooms! I bet they will be so cute!!

I did the C25K and it worked well for me. I was actually pretty suprised! :goodvibes

Sounds like you've got your September trip well planned! Once the dining is planned seems like everything else just falls into place.

Hope you have a good day!
Stacie

Thanks Stacie.:hug:

Good afternoon friends,

Today started off as a good day and then went a bit downhill with a pretty nasty headache. :( I have a lot of work to do today (in addition to homeschooling) and the headache is making it hard to concentrate. I can DIS though! ;):lmao:

I will spend some time this evening doing some stretches and maybe some ab work if this headache goes away.

Tomorrow, my DH will be in KY, so I think I will try and get some more cleaning and organizing done.

Hope everyone has a good evening!:grouphug:

Hey Tracy! Sounds like you have had a busy couple of days...glad to hear you got one of the rooms done! High School Musical...sounds like fun. My little niece loves HSM and wants everything related to HSM, and now she also wants her room themed around that!

Hope your headache went away today!

Glad to hear you are thinking about the c25k program, you can definetely do it. Remember that program is designed for people that haven't done any running so that is a great start. Can't wait to hear what you decide!

Thanks Laurie!:hug:
