Toystoryduo’s Journal: Baby Steps are the Key... Celebrate Each Victory!

Hi Tracy,

I'm sorry you are ill still :(. Sending some good thoughts your way that you feel better soon!!!! :hug:

Tracy, I'm sorry to hear you are sick. Please, please take care of yourself. Rest, read, drink fluids: tea, broth, etc. Everything else can wait. Rremember if you are not healthy, you can't take care of everyone/everything else. So take care of you now, and then deal with the rest of the stuff later. It will still be there when you are better. :hug:

Thanks everyone!!!!!:hug:

Today was the first day in a week that I have been able to keep food down! :banana: I'm not feeling 100%, but I'm closer than I have been in awhile.

We have a lot going on this weekend....DH has to work, I have a meeting at church and I am helping my MIL with my SIL's baby shower. My house is driving me crazy...I need it organized and cleaned out in a big way! Any volunteers? :rotfl:

I will try very hard to take it easy...I don't want to stay sick or start feeling worse.....

I'll try and get to journals tomorrow!:hug:

Have a good evening! :grouphug:

Hey Tracy---Glad to hear you were able to eat some today! That is a good sign that you are getting better! As hard as it is, rest is the best thing! I am with you on it being hard when you can't keep up with everyone else...but as hard as it is you need to take it easy so you can get 100% better!

Sounds like you have a busy weekend ahead! Hope you are feeling better!

Good morning friends,

I kept everything down that I ate yesterday!:goodvibes I didn't eat all that much, but it was a blessing to keep it down. I finally feel like I am getting better.:cool1: I have to be very mindful about continuing to take it easy though so that I can build up my immune system again. My DH had the same thing and got rid of it in 48 hours. I'm still working on getting rid of it 9 days later. :(

I do have a lot going on this weekend. Tomorrow, I have Mom Time at church and will help my MIL get ready for my SIL's baby shower that is on Sunday. Sunday, we have church, the baby shower, and a Super Bowl party at my BIL's...I think the girls and I will skip the SB party though.

I am hoping to ease back into my normal schedule next week.... There is a lot that has been left undone the past few days and a lot that I need to catch up on.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!:grouphug:

Hi, Tracey. Glad you are feeling better! Please try not to stress about what hasn't been done. I am an expert in this area, believe me - just take a deep breath and tell yourself that it will get done when it gets done. If it has waited for a few days, it won't hurt to wait a little longer! Just don't push yourself too much and have a relapse.

Sounds like your weekend will be super busy - hope you feel well throughout and can tackle next week at 100%!

Susan

Hi Tracy...glad that you are feeling a little better!! :goodvibes Looks like you have a busy weekend ahead...just remember that you're recovering from a nasty virus and listen to your body if you need rest!!!

Hey there, I am so glad you are feeling better! Sounds like you have a busy weekend, don't overdo it! Sorry, can't volunteer, my own house looks like a bomb went off in the middle of it!

It will all get done, have fun at the baby shower (be careful those things make women want to procreate again;) ) and just enjoy the time with family. The house won't go anywhere without you and can wait until next week!

Hi Tracy,

I am so glad to hear that you are feeling better. Please cut yourself some slack. You ahve been seriously ill. Get lots of rest, lots of fluids, and more rest.

Take care,
Beth

Thanks everyone for stopping by.:grouphug:

I am feeling better, but I am nowhere near 100%. :( I am trying to take it easy, but there is so much to do each day with homeschooling, working for my DH, household chores, paying bills, e.t.c. I feel like I have fallen really far behind. Plus, I have to start getting stuff together for taxes over the next few days. That's always fun. :(

Today's Plan:

* Homeschooling

* Finish Laundry

* Pay some bills

* Go to the library

That's about all from here. Hope everyone has a great day!:grouphug:

I'm glad you are feeling better. Do take it easy though. You don't want to get sick again. Chores will wait for awhile. With Homeschooling you can take it easy now and make it up in a few weeks when you are 100% again. Sounds like you have a good plan laid out for the day.:thumbsup2

Hi Tracy
sorry you've not been well, but i'm glad your back on the mend now, just remember to take things as easy as possible...in the real world if ya know what i mean!! ;)

Hey Tracy,

I'm glad you are feeling better. You had to mention taxes? I need to work on that tomorrow.

Take care and don't overdo it.
Beth

Hi Tracy,

I am glad you are feeling better, just take it one thing at a time. Maybe prioritze your list of things to do and get to them as you can. And don't forget to put you on that list of things that need attention! It will all get done. :hug:

Taxes, did you say taxes??:scared1:

Glad you're finally starting to feel better. Please, take it easy.

Use my philosophy...100 years from now, no one will care if your house was clean, but your kids & grandkids may remember stories about how you cared & how fun you were!!! Do the necessities, forget the rest for awhile.

Hope Wednesday is going well!

Thanks ladies!:grouphug:

I am feeling better. I would say I am at about 75% right now. I have been taking it easy while still trying to get things done.

Tonight, my DH and I are going to figure out our Disney trips for the year, including alternatives to selling on eBay for extra money. That should be fun!:banana:

No workouts as of yet....Well except for yesterday....My DDs and I rode our bikes to the bank because my DH wasn't going to get home in time from work to take the deposit to the bank. I rode the bike with 2 flat tires and didn't figure it out until I got home! :lmao: Needless to say it was quite a workout.:eek:

Hope everyone is having a good week so far!:grouphug:

Tonight, my DH and I are going to figure out our Disney trips for the year,

That's enough to make anyone feel better. :woohoo:

Take care and get lots of rest, Tracy. You're always on the go...you deserve some downtime, even if you have to get sick to get it. ;)

Thanks Kim!:hug: I am trying to take it easy and get lots of rest....I promise!:goodvibes

Our Disney planning went well last night. We got some of our September trip figured out and a little of our December trip. We've decided to cut back on a lot of things that we did last year to save money. For example, no dining plan for us in December. It would cost us around $800 for 5 days worth of eating!:eek: I don't spend that much in a month for groceries.:eek: I hope to have both trips planned by the end of today...budget and all.

Today's Plan:

* Homeschooling

* Grocery store

* Post Office

* Coffee with my friend this evening...

* Disney planning!:banana:

That's about all from here. Hope everyone has a great Thursday!:grouphug:

I think I'm gonna need your help for my Aug/Sep trip!! :thumbsup2

Have a great day.

When I ever get the chance to go to WDW, Tracy, you're gonna have to tutor me!!!!

Glad you're getting better. Riding a bike w/ flat tires is REALLY hard!!!! Hopefully it wasn't uphill!!
