I am starting to get super excited about our trip! I know that we were just there in September, but there is nothing like WDW at Christmastime! I'm even looking forward to sharing WDW with my in laws. How's that for some Disney magic?

Yesterday, my MIL fell at work. My DH is taking her to the doctor today to have her hand and elbow x-rayed. She thinks she may have broken her hand. Please send prayers and her way....She's leaving for Florida tonight!

Today's Plan:

* Homeschooling

* Laundry

* Workout

* Library

* Ornament making (applesauce/cinnamon ornaments...will make the house smell yummy for weeks! )

* Drop MIL off at the airport

* More packing (Kids are almost done...Gotta start packing for DH and me)

My DH had to run out to PA yesterday and didn't get a chance to finish my mom's car. I'm hoping it gets done today or tomorrow so we know if the gaskets were the problem or not. (Two different mechanics diagnosed the gaskets as the problem.)

I am so sorry this car thing is still going on, I hope it all gets solved soon! And I will say a prayer that mil's hand is not broken, that is lousy timing given her trip! I think its great you are looking forward to WDW even with the inlaws, that is some Disney magic, too bad you can't always see them at WDW, then they might not be so annoying!

I am so excited for you guys taking this trip! You are going to have so much fun, WDW at Christmastime is the best, we were there last year, it was wonderful. Enjoy all the decorations, is Spaceship Earth running during your visit? If you do the Candlelight Processional, think of me, that was hands down the most beautiful thing I have done at Christmas, in or out of WDW.

I am a Martha too, maybe I need to read that book! If I don't talk to you before you leave, have a WONDERFUL time and a safe trip. And I hope that Disney magic keeps the inlaws behaving themselves!

Good morning friends,

Drum roll, please....... I think my DH successfully fixed the car! Thank you, Lord! He took it around for a drive yesterday and it didn't overheat. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, Lord!

Of course after the car is fixed, the toilet tanked. Pun intended. He fixed that too and will caulk it today.

I can't believe that we leave for WDW in 2 days. I still have some things left to do on my to do list, but it is manageable.

While we are in Florida, my DH and I will be thinking about the year ahead...Financially, physically, spiritually, e.t.c. I know that I have gained a lot of weight in the past month. My scale needs new batteries so maybe I'll get some today and then weigh myself before we leave. That way, I'll know exactly what needs to be done.

Oh I am so glad dh got that car fixed! What a relief that must be for you both! HOw is mil's hand? Was it broken? I hope you have a relaxing trip, I think reflecting on next year at WDW is a good thing. In a beautiful, tropical, magical setting you will be in a good frame of mind. I actually find myself almost being excited for January and all the new beginnings it brings. Have a safe trip, eat a Mickey Bar for me and above all: HAVE FUN!!!!

My MIL's hand was severely sprained and bruised. She is wearing a wrist splint and taking pain meds to help alleviate the pain. She is feeling a bit better. Thanks for asking!

I can't believe that we leave for WDW tomorrow. We have a few things left on our to do lists and then we can relax and enjoy the evening. (We may be too excited to sleep though! )

I'm not sure if we will have access to the internet or not while in Florida....My DH can't make up his mind as to whether or not we should take the laptop.

I have a quick break right now so I thought I would come back and share our plans for the trip:

Saturday: Leave for WDW/ Time Unknown

Sunday: Arrive in WDW; Depending on when we arrive, we may head to DTD or to Sonic for lunch. Check in at the house is at 4:00 p.m. If everyone is up to it, we may head to DTD for the evening or the Boardwalk.

Monday: Blizzard Beach/Outback

Tuesday: Sweet Tomatoes/ MVMCP

Wednesday: Rest Day or Holy Land Experience or Resort Hopping/ RFC

Thursday: Rest Day or Epcot/RFC

Friday: Epcot or DH's family visit

Saturday: DH's family visit, Kitchen Sink here we come!

Sunday: DH's family leaves for Ohio; we transfer to BCV, dinner at Chef Mickeys

Monday: MGM/ Sci Fi Drive In

Tuesday: Epcot/ Le Cellier (This may change as DH's cousin is having surgery that day. We may go to St. Pete to be with them.)

Wednesday: Rest Day/ Cape May Cafe

Thursday: Epcot/ Biergarten (DH's favorite restaurant!)

Friday: Leave

We have a lot to get done today. Right now, my DH is meeting with a client and when he gets home, it will be time to tackle that to do list!

Good morning WISH buddies,

I can't believe the day is finally here! We're all very excited to be leaving today....right before a major storm hits this area! We're leaving cold and snow for sun, warmth, and Mickey!!! Yee Haw!!!!! (Couldn't find a cowboy smilie. )

Our to do list is mostly completed....I'll be heading out to my Mom Time group at church soon, we'll go pick up the rental car, come home, pack the car, and go.

Hi there, you are getting near to WDW as I write this you lucky lady! Your trip plans sound great and so much fun. I'll be thinking about you tomorrow at Blizzard Beach wishing I was there with you to sit under a palm tree, chat face to face (someday maybe?) and have a nice tropical cocktail! Have a great time, I am so happy you get to take this trip, you guys deserve it! I miss ya already too! But its for a worthy cause so I can tough it out without you for two weeks!

SO glad your DH got the car fixed!! We have had our share of car problems (and will have more coming up, I'm sure, since we're trying to hang on to our cars for a couple more years and they have MUCHO miles on them), so I do understand the frustration and anxiety that comes with the unexpected expense and difficulty getting around. Here's hoping that problem is behind you for good!
