Thanks Laurie.
I got a lot accomplished yesterday and it was in a non-rushed, unhurried manner. It felt good to get so much done at a reasonable pace.
I've been reading a book called
Martha to the Max by Debi Stack. The basis for the book is the Martha/Mary story from the Bible. (Jesus came over, Mary sat at his feet and listened in love, Martha ran around preparing everything and got upset when she saw her sister spending time with Jesus instead of working.) The book revolves around the story and how perfectionism and people who have Type A personalities can easily get frustrated, exhausted, and burned out. I see so much of myself in Martha (the one running around preparing things at a frantic pace) and often forget that my focus in life should be to love God and love others. People focused instead of project focused... This book has helped me see that my all or nothing thinking is not healthy for me and that I really need to put my focus on God. It is a really good book.

I'll probably still make lists though.
Today's Plan:
* Church
* Breakfast w/ MIL
* Come home; help DH with car
* Start packing (in a leisurely way!)
* Enjoy a restful evening
I may throw in a trip to the grocery store as well. I won't buy much sine we'll be gone for two weeks, but just enough to get us through the week. (Note to self: Keep it simple, Tracy!

)
Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far! Have a great Sunday!
