Hey Tracy,

I'm still working on my research for you. There seems to be a lot of conflicting opinions. Hang in there.

Great job today. Good luck with the Christmas shopping. I always overspend, so any tips are welcome.

tAKE CARE,

Good morning friends,

Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!:headache: I am so sore from yesterday's workout!:eek: I felt like I was taking it easy yesterday, but apparently, my body disagrees with me. Ouch!:headache:

Yesterday was a very productive day. We got two rooms of the house super clean, more stuff for us to take to Goodwill, and we went to the grocery store and the library.

I realized yesterday that we spend way too much stuff on junk. Why? Just by looking at the number of bags we have sent to the Goodwill the past few days. Even though we do a great deal of our shopping at garage sales and thrift stores, the items aren't bargains if they don't get used. We've given clothes away my girls have never worn, toys away they haven't played with, books they haven't read, clothes my DH and I haven't worn in years, e.t.c. It was eye opening! I think that's why I am struggling with my Christmas list this year. I want to buy gifts that people can use, especially my girls. The good news is that I got lots of books at the library about handmade/homemade Christmas gifts so hopefully we'll get some ideas from that. There's a great thread here on the budget boards with lots of great ideas as well.:woohoo:

Today's Plan:

* Homeschool

* Finish Laundry

* Clean and organize storage areas in the house

* Do some gentle stretching exercises....very sore from yesterday's workout!

Please pray for my DH....He is in Indiana today and having issues with the car. Please pray that the car would work properly so he can get home and fix it and please pray for my DH's safety. I worry when he travels so far....

Have a great day! Go Cleveland Indians! If they win tonight, we go to the World Series!!!!!!:banana:

Hey Tracey!!! Sounds like you've been a busy little bee!! I need to do the same thing! Whew, my closet--oh, it's a nightmare!

Yeah, girl. Stretch out good! Stretching always makes me feel so much better!

I would like to be crafty, but I just don't have time. The ideas are there, but when it comes to actually doing it, it just never happens. Sounds cool though. Great homeschool projects too!

Hope you have a good one!
Stacie

Thanks Stacie.:hug:

Good morning WISH friends.

I am still incredibly sore today. I am going to do some stretching and hopefully get a walk in if the weather cooperates.

My DH got home safe and sound from Indiana last night around 8:30 p.m. :goodvibes

Our plans for this weekend include:

* DDs' final soccer games of the season

* DH is deejaying Saturday night.

* Church on Sunday.

For now, that is it! Today will be homeschool, laundry, and shopping for soccer gifts for the girls.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!:grouphug:

Hi Tracy! So glad to hear DH got home safe and sound last night!!!

Hope you guys have a great weekend!
Stacie

Hi Tracy -
Sorry I haven't checked your journal lately....:guilty:
Great job on the workout!! Don't think I could've done it! No wonder you're sore!!!

One thing I wanted to tell you....I have always been impressed how you can list your "To Do For the Week"....and then actually stick to it! Amazing to me!! I need pointers!!

Keep up the good work...glad DH made it home safely!
Marie

Hi Tracy
hope your having a great weekend :)
Glad DH got home safely!
I'm a horder with 'stuff' hate to throw anything away, i'm trying to programme myself tp be able to de-clutter!!!!

:worship: :worship: :worship:

Anyone who can get rid of "stuff" deserves :worship:.

Actually, I am not a hoarder, but both Kate and DH are. It is very frustrating to me. Good for you for getting perspective on all of the stuff.

Keep up the good work, sweetie.
Take care,
Beth

Hey Tracy! Glad to hear you are getting back into working out. Hope the soreness went away from your weight workout. Stretching gently usually helps me a lot when I am sore.

I am glad to hear your DH made it home safe and sound from Indiana.

I hear you about buying a lot of junk. Every once and awhile, I will clean and send stuff to goodwill, and it always seems like I find so much stuff to give, yet my apartment always seems really cluttered! I guess I buy a lot of junk!!

Hope you have a great weekend, and your DD wins her last soccer game!

Hey,

Long time no see (seems I always say that...). Hope everything is going well. It is good here. Went to the LSU-Kentucky Football game last week. It was unbelievable!!!!

Gotta run...

Dax

Good evening friends,

Today has been a good day. It started off with a climb up the old hill today. Yesterday, I heard a speaker say that sometimes you need to get a new perspective so go walk a hill and check out the view. So, I decided to do that. I've found that I have been wallowing in self pity the past few weeks due to my diagnosis. Walking the hill today allowed me to break free from the pity party and really got me started thinking about some ways to not only lose weight, but to work on our finances as well. It's amazing how a good heart pumping walk can really clear your head. Oh yeah....The view from the top of the hill was great!:thumbsup2

Aftre my walk, I came home and did some work for my DH. Then, my grandma called and said she and my grandfather were coming to the girls' games today. Woohoo!:woohoo: After the games, they took us to Bob Evans for dessert and we had a great time. After that,we dropped my DH off at his buddy's house and off to a wedding to deejay they went..... The girls are watching a movie and I am catching up on journals and some work for my DH.

Tomorrow's Plan:

* Church (My DH and I teach 4 year olds tomorrow.)

That's all we have planned. It's supposed to be 80 degrees and sunny so maybe we'll head out to nature and talk a walk or go to the park....

Have a great weekend everyone!!!!! Go TRIBE!:cheer2:

Hi Tracy
Theres nothing like a good walk in the fresh air to clear your head!
I spent weeks walking alone after i lost my grandma, it really helped.
lucky you to be getting 80 degrees - its about 40 here!!
who are tribe???

Hi Tracy, just getting caught up with you, sorry I have been gone (again)! I agree with Traceycooper, a walk outdoors is so good for the body, mind and soul. So good job with that. You will get his weight off, I have great faith in your abilities. Have faith in yourself and it will happen! I am right with you on not buying junk, I just did a clean out too and I realize how much money I waste. Hope you got your eighty degrees today, we have 35 and snow! Good luck to the Indians tonight, I want our teams to meet in the World Series!

Here's to a great week Wish Sis!:hug:

Hi, tracy! Just stopping by to check in on you! Have a great day!!

Good morning friends,

We had a nice weekend, despite the Indians losing last night. :( As a Cleveland sports fan, I should be used to this, but it still bugs me when they lose.:mad: Oh well....Just sports, right? ;) Always the bridesmaid; never the bride. And Cleveland sports' favorite saying, "There's always next year.":lmao:

Anyhow.....:rolleyes1

I've decided to try a new thing: Weekly goals. Monthly goals are good, but I think weekly goals will help me focus a bit more. So, without further ado, here are my goals for October 21-October 28, 2007:

* eBay

* Cardio 4 times this week. Weights 2 times this week.

* Clean the kitchen

* One salad per day

That's it. I'm starting off a bit slow and not including weight loss yet because TOM will be arriving next week.

Last night, we called and changed some of our ADRs for our December trip. So, we will be eating at Chef Mickeys, Sci-Fi, Le Cellier, Cape May Cafe, and Biergarten (DH's request). A few weeks ago, my BIL and SIL said that they were coming to WDW for sure this year (been trying to get them there since 2004), but they haven't asked about price, schedule or anything. DH's mom will be with us for sure the first week and then we will be at BCV the second week.

Today's Plan:

* Homeschool

* Help DH with car

That's about all from here....Have a great Monday!:grouphug:

HI Tracy! Good to see those weekly goals!!! Making ressies for dining always makes the trip seem more real!

Hope you have a great day!
Stacie
