Good morning friends,

My Buckeyes lost yesterday. Goodbye #1! The worst part is that they lost to my brother's alma mater..... Oh well, it's just a game.

The weekend has been good. My DH and I actually had a chance to go out last night while the girls went to grandma's house.

Today's Plan:

* Church

* Breakfast with MIL

* Put Outdoor Christmas Lights Up (weather permitting)

* Return Rental Car

I can't believe our Disney trip is 20 days away! I am really looking forward to going...WDW at Christmas time is just awesome!

Hey tracy-sounds like you had a nice week! I am so impressed that you have all your Christmas shopping just about done, and WRAPPED!! YIKES! I haven't even begin to think about what I am going to get people. And with my own Disney trip coming up in a few weeks, it will probably be last minute shopping for me again this year!

I'm not feeling all that well today. I haven't been sleeping well the past few days, the weather has been blah, and I feel like a cold is coming on. I'm going to try and take it easy for the next few days because I don't want to be sick for WDW.

Today's Plan:

* Homeschooling

* Straighten up the kitchen, living room, and bathroom

* Make dinner ( mom and dad are coming over)

* Make some to do lists for the next few weeks

* Walk

Good morning friends,

Still feeling bogged down with not feeling well and negativity. This car situation is a real pain in the you know what. There's also some potential family drama that may come to a head this week....I'm so looking forward to that.

My DH is taking the car to a mechanic today. He is beyond frustrated and wasting a lot of time trying to diagnose the problem himself. I am hoping it is something relatively easy and inexpensive to fix. I guess it's a wait and see thing....

I will try and get to journals tomorrow....Hopefully, I will be more positive by then.

Lesli~ Thanks for stopping by! Getting all of that Christmas shopping and wrapping has burned me out a bit. I still haven't finished wrapping, but I may delegate that to my DH.

Stacy~ We haven't seen the Osbourne lights before. As a matter of fact, we just added a day at MGM to our trip a few weeks ago. We're really looking forward to seeing it!

Laurie~ We'll be staying in a rental house the first week we are there. The second week we are there, we are staying at the Bach Club Villas. I can't wait!

Ahh yes, family drama.. my family is good for that on a regular basis (well, mostly my sis.. LOL, and my dh's fam)
Anyway, hopefully your car isn't too serious.. I know how much it stinks to have to drop $$ on a car before a vacation!
As my MIL always says -- A.T.D. (Always Think Disney)!

uh-oh...nothing like family drama to spice up your life! I know that all too well! Seems like there is always some family drama going on. Hope that all blows over!

TWO WEEKS in WDW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooooooooooooo.... jealous! I am only going to be there for 4 days with my family. I can't really take too much time off from work, so I always squeeze in a long weekend with my family each year!!

Yesterday was a long day. We finally found out that the head gasket needs replaced on my mom's car....Estimate? $800-$1600. How did I handle said news? I ate and ate and ate and cried and ate and yelled and cried and ate....I think you get the picture. It was a bad day.

The good thing is that today is a new day with new choices. We will tackle this car issue like everything else...One step at a time.

Today's Plan:

* Homeschooling

* Sam's Club ( need some healthy food!)

* Post Office

* More stuff than I can think of right now....

I'm looking forward to Disney, but am not looking forward to the family drama. We'll have to wait and see what happens.....

Hang in there Tracy. We had some expensive car repairs earlier this year and have come to the conclusion that sometimes it is better to just let it go and find a way to get another. You have a great attitude of taking it one day at a time.

Try not to let the family drama get you down either. Yes, easier said than done. Anymore, I just say my piece and let it go. I figure some people choose to drag things out and there is nothing you can do to stop them, so if I am not playing the "game" then maybe they will eventually leave me out. Less stress that way.

Hey Wish Sis, Family Drama, now why can I relate to that? Just make sure said family members do not put one teeny bit of a damper on your WDW trip. Somethings are just sacred! I am so sorry about the car, I hope it turns out to be at least the lower end of that estimate. I hate cars! Just hang in there, try to get some sleep. And don't worry about your eating through the stress the other night, it happens. Things will improve and that always helps. Hope you got to Sams for some healthy food, that helps too!

I woke up this morning in a not-so-positive frame of mind. I talked to my DH for awhile and spent some time reading and praying. I need to get a good cardio workout in today and maybe a nap too. With all of the stress we've been having, I haven't been sleeping well.

Today's Plan:

* Homeschooling

* Workout (a MUST!)

* Walmart, Library, Sams

* To do lists.....

Tomorrow is DD6's birthday. We plan on going to Chuck E Cheese and then we will have a party tomorrow evening at my MIL's house. I am hoping to avoid drama there. My in laws have decided to go to WDW and have not planned a thing. We are 16 days away..... I'm not sure how I feel about them going. There's a lot of stuff that has gone on over the years.... Now, we'll be in one house with everyone for a week. Hmmmm..... I guess we'll have to wait and see how this all works out.

As for the car...My DH is calling around and getting estimates. The first estimate that we got was $1600. The second was half of that. We're hoping to have an answer sometime today.

Good luck with the car. As for your trip, my suggestion is to have a few things to do together as a family, ie Illuminations together or dinner at such and such a place. The rest of the time go separate ways. Definately, do some things with just the 4 of you.
