The Island Tour, Beach & Lunch drive was about 20-25 minutes there and the same coming back, via a different route. The driver was very accommodating in pulling over for pictures, naming the outlying islands and the history and current owners and tidbits. We also stopped next to a dolphin swim excursion and were able to take photos from the bus if we liked. Myetts is the name of the Garden and Grille where we had lunch on the tour
http://www.myettent.com/ And I will say that the lunch was delicious. The ribs and the dressing on the salad were beyond wonderful, I truely enjoyed both dishes. There were also beach chairs for the Disney guests. There were no rental facilities down in our area of the beach. There were a few tourist vendors selling a variety of souvenir items and clothing up on the roadside next to Myetts. There also is a gift shop on the property. I think I read that you can rent beach umbrellas, but we didn't seek one out.
We did not notice anyone renting snorkel equipment as I don't think this is a snorkel area?

We also did not notice floaties or anything like that being rented, but we weren't looking for them. Looking at our pictures, I don't notice any water sports in the background either. Here is a website that has some info about Cane Garden Bay:

Hope this helps.
