Ok boys and girls....here's another installment of BostonTiggers History Lesson.

Today in 1897 Mark Twain was quoted by the New York Journal as saying "the report of my death was an exaggeration."

And for you sports fans out there....in 1941, Lou Gehrig died in New York.

in 1953, Queen Elizabeth II was crowned in Westminster Abbey.

in 1999, South Africans went to the polls in their second post-apartheid elections.

Yea I decided to change it. I figured, history is never useless.
