To Y & BC or not..

Hi-Im trying to decide whether to bring my 4 year old to Y & BC or not. I dont know much about its pool or restaurants /amenities. Does anyone have any pics/qt movies or advice? Thanks !

I don't have any pics or movies I can share but I can say this. The YC/BC is our favorite resort(s). I think of them as one. Anyway, we don't have kids but I think a 4 year old would LOVE Stormalong Bay. I see kids screaming and crying when their parents are trying to make them leave. They have a kiddie pool section - a great slide - a "whirling pool" section, and even a small "lazy river" section. There's often a volleyball game going on. It's like a mini water park. I can't imagine a child not going crazy over it. Heck, I'm 41 and I go crazy over it.

Other than Stormalong Bay, we love walking to Epcot and boating over to MGM. The boardwalk area is tons of fun. I'm sure you and your child will have a great time.

I would think your 4YO would love the pool, I have heard it is really great for kids. It has a sand bottom and you can just walk in like at the beach.
It is really easy to get to Epcot and MGM. I know that will be a factor with a child. MK will have to be by bus uless you dont mind walking through epcot to get to the monorail. AKL is a bus also.
We will be going for the first time to YC and I am really looking forward to it.
Although we wont be taking children Im sure being a Disney resort it will be perfect for anyone with children.

We love BC, YC & BCV and Stormalong Bay (SAB) is the BEST! Our young children LOVE this pool!

I'm taking my 4 yo to BCV in September. I think he's going to love it, especially SAB! We took him to BWI last year and he loved that too!

Go, go go!!! You will not regret it! The YC is our families favorite resort, altho we will be trying 2 new ones next trip. The pool and the location cannot be beat. If your DS is like my kids (DD4 & DS8) he will love the ducks and walking around. So much to do and so much fun.

I would have to second everyone else here. The YC/BC resort is one terriffic place and you can't beat SAB. Not only does the resort have its own waterpark, but there is the Boardwalk entertainment area, Epcot, and MGM within walking distance or a boat ride. I'm betting your little one would like the boat ride to MGM.
