Prayers and hugs to all those in the Northeast! We have family there that are "hunkered down" and just waiting for what the storm will bring. Please be safe out there.

Continued pixie dust to all my fellow R2ers! Hopefully today is the day. It was a long weekend, not only waiting for that magical email, but our youngest was in the ER with a very nasty bout of Croup and is now on steroids and hoping that will help him feel better very soon.....so that email would work wonders for this momma right about now (well, a magical one anyway)!

Hunkered down here on Long Island. I'm nervous that the round 3 info will go out this week and I'll have no access to my email. We still have power now, but we heard the outside electrical breaker making loud popping noises already. It's hard to believe that the heart of the storm is still so far away.

hoping that if power goes, I can still access emails with cell phone. plenty of gas in the car to charge the phone and run small appliances if needed. But if cell service is disrupted, then I won't know what to do with myself.

snow?? that's crazy!! I heard that on the weather channel earlier and I can't imagine this same storm is creating snow someplace else!! that's definitely worse than rain. hopefully it stays in the high elevations and doesn't affect as many people.

It's just cold here in the Raleigh area. I would love to have some of your snow! Take care and stay warm. Hopefully the power will stay on.

The rest of you in the NE stay safe. My nephew is in CT. They were without power for 3 weeks last year after Irene. Hopefully this will blow over quickly and not bring as much damage as predicted.

Please stay safe! Up here in Buffalo/Niagara Falls we are just going to see the rain and wind. It figures too - we are just on the edge of where the storm will hit! about 50 miles from here they are not expected to get anything!

I was thinking the same thing - most of us should be able to get email on our cell phones, and if you have a laptop thingy (don't laugh I forgot what it's called) that gets the same signal as your phone, then you are good to go! We have a car charger for our cell phones so we can always hook them up in there if we need to.

Thanks for the THX!----Here it is, I also threw a Fat Tuesday sign on it my daughter made. A lot of the details go unnoticed in the photo, because the colors camouflage them. It's the worst wreath I've ever done or so I thought! I guess my worst is OK! My Christmas wreath last year was quite unique & it placed second, I have picture on my blog if anyone wants to see.

I just pray if they fall its on my house that is unoccupied vs my neighbors where they are home.

I hope all your homes are safe, you sound like a thoughtful neighbor!

I don't know what is wrong with my work - they always send out the notifications about no work via email - thankfully I still have power and was able to get it. So now to tighten the hatches and be driven crazy by no Rd3 emails and two stir-crazy children!!!
