Well, if you think about it, they were
the essays and
the videos last Sunday...so it is very possible! Not to mention, IT and all the other WDW staff work 7 days a week. And, if they have sent them very late at night on a Saturday before, I can't see a Sunday being out of the question!
Trying to stay positive, but I am so frustrated, and now I am getting mad because they are making us wait.
Good morning though everyone! The Halloween Party last night was so much fun! I will try to post some pics later, if I figure out how!
Here's a list of some of the costumes (this was an adult party):
1. -------------- 16.
That's all I can think of right now. There were about 30-35 of us! This is the 10th year for the party and it was amazing. The couple who throw the party every year have the coolest house every, and their 3rd floor is practically a public bar - nice bar, pool table, foosball, darts, great furniture. And they have the best bar & sports decor in there too!
She has the most amazing Halloween decorations - nothing is cheesy, very expensive, and they are in every nook and cranny of the house. She takes down their regular decor, it must take her weeks!
She comes up with the best games. We used to do a scavenger hunt all over town - in costume, 4 to a car. It was nuts, like a Chinese fire drill, in and out of cars. We've had to do everything from convince McD's to give us a free happy meal toy, to going in a bar and asking for a condom, to going to a grocery store - buying some really funny stuff like tampons, ex lax, refried beans - then we would have to have the cashier return/void the transaction and we would have to bring back the receipt. We'd have to steal a political sign and bring it back. Take pics in a cemetery, at a firehouse with a fireman and a truck! Some crazy stuff, and we can't take any purses, cell phones, or money! She put tiny gray mice all over the house hidden in the decorations and we'd break up into to teams and have to find them. So many cool games! And then they give out prizes- wine, import beers with different flavors, stuff like that. They are some of our dearest friends, and through my cancer they were always there. We really have some amazing friends! And they totally understand my obessions with Disney, so they are very excited for me!
Have fun today everyone! I hope today is the day!![]()
That sounds like such a FUN party!!!! Your friends sound like really cool people. I would love to see how they decorated their house. Wonder what she does on Christmas!!! Must be spectacular!!!!!
I had another strange MP dream last night:
I made R3, and Laura announced a change to the process: that everyone they were considering would be flown to WDW for a day, and Laura would meet with them in person to decide who would be best for the panel.
Well, as exciting as this sounded, it ended up being really stressful because they wanted us to leave THAT NIGHT, and I had no childcare since my DH is in Vegas. I ended up dropping my DD off at my mother-in-law's house, even though no one was home (of course, I'd never do this IRL, my DD is only 3!) so I could get to my flight in time. I kept trying to call my MIL to tell her DD was there, but she wasn't answering, so I was completely stressed out about no one being there for my DD.
Then, when I arrived at WDW, a huge storm was coming through (the Frankenstorm?) and everything was closing. Laura met all the R3 applicants in the lobby of the boardwalk, but informed us we wouldn't be staying overnight since all the hotels were closing due to the storm. Instead, we'd go spend some time at MK just for a few hours, and then we'd all go home.
When we got to MK, the storm was going through and it was really scary and dangerous. A Dumbo car that had apparently blown off the ride few through the air, fell at our feet and shattered, and there was various debris flying all over the place, like being in a tornado. I was so freaked out that I couldn't focus on impressing Laura, but everyone else was, and they were all way up ahead of me, chatting and becoming friends. I tried to get in on the conversation, but I was too worried and couldn't focus.
We walked out of the park to the monorail station, which, despite the weather was still running. Laura said there is a secret monorail that is only used by Disney execs, and that it goes to the airport. She said we could take it to get back to the airport quickly before the storm got worse. I was terrified to get on the monorail with the storm as bad as it was, but I noticed everyone was saying goodbye to Laura, and there were hugs and chatter since they all had been making friends the whole time. In a desperate attempt to try to regain ground in getting to know her, I gave her a big hug and said I was sorry for being so distracted, and would she still consider me? She just smiled and said to never give up on my dreams, and I knew I was out.
Then I woke up, relived that that didn't really happenBut also thinking that any dream interpreter would probably tell me I'm gearing up for disappointment

Goodness!!!!! For some reason I imagine you in a scene in the EPIC MICKEY version of the DMP!!!!
But don't think of your dreams as telling you bad news. You're just reacting to nerves!!! Are you having coffee or any heavy foods before bed?? Try a relaxing tea and calming music.
Anyway, your dreams are very entertaining!!! LOL
Hi Hopefuls: Just a reminder that our List was (hopefully accidentally) tampered with earlier this week, and columns A & B were deleted - on the Round 2 page only. While we are waiting for the magical emails, take a moment to re-enter your info here:
