I love that show! I think Abby Lee Miller is nuts. I can't believe the way she talks to those kids! It's very entertaining tho.

I know, I would never let my kids be verbally abused by her & they pay her to do so! Not to mention, the way she talks to the parents. Also don't get me started on crazy CANDY (Candy Apples)!!!!! Glad we're a better group than them

My poor kids are about to call the men in white coats to come and take me away. I haven't slept, or eaten, or accomplished anything in days. If I didn't have you guys I don't know what I'd do. Even if you all make it and I don't I'm still going to stay here and cheer for you guys. TEAM 2013!!!!!

I'm seriously useless to my hubby, kids, parents, neighbors & friends right now----If you want, meals, laundry, groceries & help of any kind, give me about a week or so---then if I make Round 3, put it on HOLD for a while---Because I'll be living it up! Woot Woot!!

I'm a dance mom, but I've never watched that show.

I spend most of my fall sewing maribou and sequins on costumes for their winter show. I haven't used a Bedazzler yet, but I'm sure I will eventually!

I had my first DMP dream last night. You were all getting your Round 3 email. Every time I would go to open my Gmail to see if I got THE email I would get bothered. It felt like this went on for hours. All my friends, family, co-workers, even perfect strangers wouldn't let me check my email. Hope it's not a premonition.

The dream must have made me restless all night because my neck is killing me this morning.

Here's another one:
About 10 years ago, DH and I went on a with a bunch of our long-time to Eastern Caribbean on Carnival. We had an amazing time!

When we stopped in St. Martin, we took a cab over to the French side for a day. Well, the guys were all on the beach playing volleyball, and us girls went in the water. Well, we are watching the guys, and they are all distracted, hubby and his bff keep getting hit in the face with the ball! so we look in the direction where they are to see what's going on....three of the dancers from our ship are on the beach, TOPLESS so I to hubby and he's all . In no flat, we see this gorgeous creature walking past us. he is walking past us on the and he is this talk, dark, handsome, very built guy carrying a Royal Caribbean tote bag Damn! But, the best part - ALL he is wearing is a white thong We could not get out of the water fast enough! Scrambled for our cameras because we knew no one at home would believe us. Then we proceed down the beach , very casually following him , well, he passed the sign that says "Clothing optional beyond this point, NO cameras allowed". Awe, ! Needless to say, we had a very eventful day at the ,

I thought I was doing good this year, but apparently I was answering interview questions in my sleep last night. DH threatened to sleep on the couch if I can't keep the talking to a minimum tonight. I think he was slightly offended because all I said was, "how did I do?" I think he might be stopping to purchase a straight jacket after work.

All I have to say is that I better make it to R3! I am SO prepared for that phone interview! Instead of having DMP dreams, I wake up paniced trying to think of a good answer to a question Laura's asked me! So instead of getting much needed sleep, I'm prepping for the phone interview that may never happen!

I wasn't answering questions out loud last night, but I could not stop thinking about possible questions while I was trying to go to sleep.

I finally decided that there is no point in me trying to figure out questions/answers because a)the odds are against me making it to R3 and b)even if I did, I wouldn't want to sound rehearsed when I do answer the questions, so I gave up and went to sleep.

Of course, I slept terribly and I'm tired as crud today.

Good morning all!

Like everyone else, I am also going crazy. Tomorrow bumps it up to a whole new level of waiting insanity!! In 2010 the emails came on October 26th but last year it wasn't until November 3rd that we heard late at night. I'm hoping that since the numbers are a little less than last year maybe we will hear sooner rather than later. I still stick with next Wednesday as my guess, but I definitely hope for sooner than that!!!

It's SO interesting that we have some actual dance moms in the waiting room!! That made me think of another question... If you have children, are they in any activities? If so, what are they involved in?

My DD6 takes 2 gymnastics classes per week, plus an hour of tap, an hour of ballet and piano lessons. My DS3 only takes one gymnastics class at the moment. Once he gets a little older I'd like for him to also take some kind of music lesson, but I'm not sure what yet. I'm always worried that all of these extra things are too much for my DD6, but she seems to love it! She's also constantly asking me to add even more... Last week she wanted to take Voice and Drama and now she's asking for Cooking Lessons. What?! I told her we are not adding one more thing to her schedule but if she wants to change to something else later on she can. My rule is: once they sign up for something, they have to stick with it until the end of the year. Who knows.. maybe next year she'll be taking horseback riding and archery. Her tastes seem to change like the wind!
