I am a dance mom!

My oldest takes ballet and jazz right now (we are skipping tap this year), but she's in the ballet company at her dance school, so she has dance for about 12 hours a week. She also takes tennis lessons and is in the chorus at school.

My youngest just takes ballet and tap right now. She also does Playball. Do y'all have that program or is it just around here?

Dance has pretty much taken up most of our activity time. We will probably get the little one into spring t-ball.

I'm sitting in my car in the parking lot of Target reading the DISboards on my phone. This is my feeble attempt to distract myself from the moms panel search, aren't I doing a great job??? LOL

My boys are in a ton of things right now. Jazz band, speech team, robotics team, quiz bowl team, and my oldest made it onto the school TV club this year to anchor the daily news. So we are an insanely busy family. My DH travels for work so I am super mom balancing it all!

Typing onto my phone is such a pain. I guess I will go on inside Target. My fingers and toes and eyes are all crossed for us today!!! Who knows when those magical emails might come!!!!!!!

One of the multiple choice questions for Round one was what is the special ingredient in Dole Whip? Two of the options were pineapple and Soft Serve Ice Cream. There was quite the debate as to which was the right answer. Most of the folks that made it to Round 2 chose pineapple but some that chose soft serve also made it.

I guess there is no right answer!

I am so jealous of you guys who are going to WDW so soon (even more so of those there NOW)! We were there in July and were supposed to go back in January, but my niece has exams. We have to wait until March now...

I know the feeling!!! When I got my R3 acceptance email in 2010 we were sitting at Finding Nemo the Musical waiting for the show to start. I was so surprised that I screamed out loud!! Of course DH was embarrassed that I had drawn attention to myself, but I couldn't help it! I was so excited!! The best part was, I had my interview while lounging by the pool at Bay Lake Tower watching my kids run around in the fountains. It was great!! (The not so great part came a few days later when I got the 'no thank you' call.. at least I was home and could cry into my own pillow! LOL)

Yes, I too am a dance mom... and baseball mom...
My youngest-- my DD is into competitive dance and will have a crazy year-- she does ballet, tap, jazz.... She loves it right now. I do like watch Dance Moms but am thrilled to say our moms and teachers are nothing like that. It's really about the girls and their love of dance. My dd is only 10 so maybe this changes as they get older. Her life is dance untill softball season starts each year and then that's when my calendar really gets crazy.

My boys are baseball nuts. My oldest is a sophomore in college and plays baseball for his school. He is thinking about crossing over to the green side-- golf that is... My middle son DS is 12 and in 7th grade and plays travel baseball. He does lots of other sports as well but pretty much baseball and golf run our house.

I am good at . and in general just so proud of them. They are my ultimate distraction when not thinking about MP!

I'm trying to think of the spot I'd want to be in at WDW when I did the interview. Most of my favorite spots might be a bit too loud.

Of course, on our balcony, overlooking the savannah, wouldn't be too terrible...I guess. I'd suffer through it.
