To all the Vera Bradley enablers

I just got a new VB Weekender too for my October trip!! I got it in Kensington... since I have the cargo bag, wallet, makeup case, ipod cover....etc in that pattern!! I never thought I'd like them so much. I probably would never have bought the 1st one, but I won it at a jewelry raffle!! I fell in love with it and 8 purses/totes +matching wallets and makeup bags later........ well you get the idea!!

My husband has banned me out of any store that carries them because I can always find one that I have to have.

Mine points me in the direction of VB..........he is just so happy the Dooney & Bourke addiction is over!! LOL Tell your hubby it could be worse! hehe

Hello. My name is Christa, and I'm a Vera Bradley Addict.

My addiction started a few years ago when my mom (enabler and fellow addict) bought me the weekender, tote, and large cosmetic bag in Apple Green (retired). We are those VB addicts that just can't stick to one print. I have Apple Green, Kensington, Pink Elephant, etc. etc. etc. And I just bought a Hipster in Night Owl. It's my favorite.

Tuddy Lu- I am thinking of getting the mini in the raspberry fizz and will be at WDW the same time as you. I have my other pieces in RF and I love it. It looks much better in person.

FOr someone that asked about the Tech case it is small with a fabric wrist stap in it. It zips around two sides and inside there is a pocket on one side. I fit my Ipod classic and then put my ear buds in pocket and it fits in my purse. I love it

I wish Vera would come out with an iPhone case similar to the Nano case from a few years ago. I have it in Kensington, and it's wonderful. I love the little clip on the back.

I wanted to buy one before our trip in Sept.
I don't know if I want a hipster or the mini hipster?
I want to be able to carry my camera & tickets, room keys, snacks & $$$. I don't have small children so no need for diapers or sippy cups.
Any advice??

It probably depends on the size of your camera and the size of your snacks. The mini-hipster is small and I found if I shoved too much in it, it got too heavy and awkward from being stuffed too full. There is room for a small camera and a granola bar or two, plus the other stuff you mentioned. If you're going to need any more than that, you should probably get the regular hipster. Its not huge. You can see it on me here...

I took some pictures of it for you.

They have redesigned it now, so the front has a snap pocket and the back has the zippered part. Other than that, I think it's still similar. As you can see, there's not really a special slot for money or room keys. I used the Vera clip zip id holder. But, I always use something else to hold my money. I never feel safe just leaving it in a bag on it's own even if there's a smaller holder for it.

I have the mini hipster too and i think for what you need it for the regular would probably be better.

I have already gotten the hipster in mod floral, and am looking for the matching accesories. If I have to go to therapy for an addiction to VB, I will send ya'll the bill!

The only thing that I find disappointing about eBags is that they don't carry things like the id clips and change purses. I end up going to a luggage shop for those, they never have anything on sale tho. eBags has also been very good with their shipping. I can order early Monday and have my bag on Thurs.

I was at Marshall's yesterday and they has several different Vera Bradley designs and styles. It is a good opportunity to pick up a VB at a discount.
