Wow you guys have been busy. - Finally got power back at around 3 on Friday Afternoon. Just in time to get 10" of snow. Got most of my Christmas shopping done yesterday even though it never stopped snowing. Now it's snowing again and they are predicting another 12".
Timmy you can I have snow I need to move to Florida!!!!


Prince or Pirate:
Let’s see - I always thought I was a Pirate but everyone keeps telling me what a Prince I am. Always love jumping on my Bike and just going where the roads take me but can be just as happy spending the weekend at a 4 star hotel or Spa. I'm a regular at a Local Bike/Sports bar and also frequent a Grill in town with a gourmet Chief. Can I get away with Stede Bonnet's claims and call myself the Gentleman Pirate?

I've always been attracted to the Pirate type I like a independent strong woman with a bit of an edge. The Problem is I always end up try to treat them like a princess and chasing them away. Yay on finally getting the power back on, but yuck on all that snow, please be certain y'all keep that white stuff up North....

....you could always be a Pirate Prince and I am sure whomever your Pirate Princess is she will accept your Princely ways....sometimes a Pirate Princess is just so used to HAVING to be so independent that it takes her a while to accept being treated like a Princess

lol..I have you and Carrie to thank for getting me addicted to texting, but at least y'all were Verizon, then Genesis asked and asked me to get unlimited texting since he is on my plan and I gave in to that and the phone has been glued to my hand since then....The last phone I had I wore the letters and numbers off from texting so much but it didnt have teh Qwerty keyboard...and btw...since I know you love the camera on your phone...have you seen the pics the Dare takes...Its a 3.2 and the pictures come out very nicely I am upgrading in February..............

Gee, I would have absolutely no idea.... I have to delete my messages minimum of 3 times a day because my box stays so full. It got even worse after I purchased the unlimited since now I can send and receive to everyone regardless of their carrier.... A friend of G's has the Dare and I like it pretty well..

will have to check it.. so far I read up about blackberry storm that has a 3.2 camera... But the Samsung Omnia is the best right now I have found it has 5.0 megapix and they are supported by verizon And since I am very happy with my Samsung 990... again leaning on this one too

Hmm, I may have to look into that..I like the Dare because it has a touch screen to go along with that 3.2 camera but will check out the Omnia before I decide .. I , like you, like a good camera in my phone as I always have the phone with me ....

does G's friend work for verizon ?? if yes.. get all the facts... test drive it then tell me if I should get it I really like it !!! But when I 1st saw it came out it was about $900 hopefully by March and with my renewal it will not cost alot more.. when I got my Samsung 2 years ago.. I added only $50 to get it

He works for Radio Shack which handles Verizon in Farmvegas... I will definitely find out more before I purchase and then I will let you know.... Cost with upgrade is $199 here but it may be a different price where you are at....

Just finished watching the Pats beat Arizona but I doubt they are going to make the playoffs this year. They Need the Jets to lose tonight and than have them beat the Dolphins next week.

I've already shoveld my driveway twice today. I've got at least 20" of snow so far. It's been snowing non-stop since 4PM on Friday and it's not supposed to stop till Around Midnight tonight. I'll have to get some good Pictures to post.

Its alot easier to text in clubs (such as JRs) than to try to yell over the noise...(Normally, everytime I have ever tried that the noise stops with my last word...lol) It works better for me with the way my job is as when I am hosting a big event I cant be on the phone with family or friends as that would be noticeable but I can be texting and just pass it off as a work related email It seems like I always get phone calls while I am at the movies too and this way I can just text the person back and ask them what they need... unless its my Mom or Dad who still remain clueless no matter how many times I show them how to text back.....
I will hope that you are done with the shoveling...I am going to try to sneak out of work early and take Marie to the movies...Have a nice evening

Always a good idea when signing contracts, including work contracts where they promise you one thing but can "contractually" deliver something entirely different. Incidentally, (and I could be way off here) you don't seem to work traditional shifts, so what do you do as a nurse if you don't mind me asking?

Actually, I'm not a nurse. I'm a civilian supervisor in a police 9-1-1 center. Work 13:00 to 23:30. Fixed Tuesday Wednesday off, every other Sunday and Monday.

Okay, for some reason I thought you were a nurse. Got it. lol. I work nights 7 p to 7:30 a.m. and my schedule changes as much as my mind. But we are self-scheduling so it only makes sense that the schedule changes as much. . .lol.

lol... Odd shifts are something in common between public safety and medicine. The fixed Tuesday Wednesday work out good for me. I sing in the choir at church, and practice is Wednesday nights. Sing pretty much every Sunday between September and early June, so the hours are good for that. With some of the craziness in public safety, the church activity kinda keeps me balanced. Guess it goes back to part of a well rounded life.

Four days off every other week are nice. With only two days off, I barely get the laundry done before I have to go back to work. Three twelves would be good... But adjusting to mids again would be hard lol..

I just worked 11 of the last 14 days. I now have 4 off. Too many Charge nurses off on leave so I had to fill in. It will make a great check but I am completely wiped out. When I was still in Cali at my other hospital I worked 6 on and 8 off. I LOVED that schedule. It doesn't work so well here and our patient acuity is much higher so I am usually completely exhausted if I work 4 in a row. . .
