Pikester - How was the
free dining plan? I am anxious about using it next week and wondered what are the best snacks to get for the credit.
Free Dining was great! We had the QS Dining Plan and we had a hard time eating the 2 QS and 2 snacks per day. I had 3 really great snacks during my stay. One was a an ice cream from the
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, Main Street Magic Kingdom. I could have either gotten a single scoop or double scoop for 1 snack credit. Thank goodness I went with the single because it was huge! The 2nd was a Raspberry turnover from
Boulangerie Patisserie located in France at Epcot. Lots of yummy goodies to choose from for 1 snack credit. DS12 had a large slice of chocolate cake, DH had an almond croissant and DS8 had a large chocolate chip cookie. The 3rd was as
Pop Century's ice cream area (I can't remember if it had an actual name or not). For 1 snack credit you could get either one scoop, two scoops or even a sundea! The other snacks we got with our credits were pretzels, popcorn, churros and different candy items. If you want the most bang for your any of your QS meals try Wolfgang Pucks Express in DTD's Marketplace. Lots of food on your plate plus your drink and a dessert. Not on the dining plan but if you are at
Epcot in Morocco for $6.99 there is an awesome drink at a little station out in front kitty corner to a little stage where they have belly dancers. It was like a slushie but with rum! There is also non-alcoholic ones too as the slushie is in a machine and they add the alcohol after. Also at Epcot in The Land is
Sunshine Seasons which has great desserts to go with the very yummy counter service food.
I usually just menitioned that I was on the dining plan and none of the CMs batted and eye. Sometimes they just confirmed that I was using the plan but that was it. Easy as pie. Yum, pie!
Oh, I can't forget! I also had a Dole Whip which was very yummy and 1 Snack cedit. Dole whip can be found in
Magic Kingdom at Aloha Isle in Adventureland. A little warning though, when we were there the pineapple whip is colored green for the season so don't think that isn't the Dole Whip.
Does any of that info help?
