The dis has been acting weird for me the past couple of days. And it is slower than ever.

You are going to have to hole onto that email. Could you imagine the fun we could have if one year we are able to co-ordinate vacations and have a meet in WDW?

I'm going to venture out of the safety of the CB and hope to find another board to post on. I'll try to do my part to be a real member of the DIS community.

Now I like that idea! Assuming that I ever make it back after our first trip. I just have the feeling that my family is going to be split between where they want to go next time... WDW or DL.

Aww, but marie, just imagine how easy that trip could be with our kids entertaining each other. My youngest DD and your DD could just sit and talk non-stop to each other for hours. Add D&D's youngest DS and the whole day would be taken care of.

Good morning friends! Well, its here....my day to head onto to greatness! I haven't been sleeping well, so I'm almost glad that this is over. Full panic mode here! My hair is enormous!

I haven't heard from older nephew today, he was supposed to get on a plane in Atlanta this morning. Trying not to fret about it.

Hey, girls, if we did meet at WDW, maybe we could take over the campgrounds! I have seen some of the cabins there on tv, and they look adorable!

I have a new friend on Facebook! I was so surprised and pleased to hear from a woman I met in Disney a few years ago. I arranged to join her Wishes cruise with her family and BF. We had a wonderful time! That year, we were going mainly to Universal, but had tickets to go to MVMCP and a Wishes cruise for our Disney fix. The lovely family gave us their park tickets with two extra days on it, so we were able to go to EPCOT and MK too! To this day, I am still astonished by their kindness and try to pass some of my own Pixie Dust along when I can.

MagiKitty---Don't worry about the hair. It'll just make you look wise! Don't they have people to do make up and hair? Just so excited for you. Remember--you are great! You got there no matter what else happens. Thousands have tried and did not get that far. We love you even if those fingers don't make it. We'll be home soooo nervous and excited for you---you can just chill out and have fun! Glad you were able to reconnect with your DW friend. I remember you talking about how great the family was. Just goes to prove that good things do happen to nice people!

Marie---You really cannot believe how the kids got along. We do definitely have to try another meet somewhere!

Pikester: How successful was Sukie's shopping trip? Does she have all she needs for the cruise?

Hope all the laundry out there is caught up---but then I guess that would never happen!

We are to have thunderstorms all day!

M&N...its dark and rainy here too. Supposed to be humid for the rest of the week, so its going be wild weathers.

I did laundry too! Glad to get it out of the way. But now it is in the way since I have no place to put it!

Racetrack's DD is quite possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen. Seriously, if I win any money tomorrow, BF and I are discussing perhaps having a little one sooner rather than later....

Ooh! Older nephew just checked in. Getting on the plane now. I have faith in the aviation system, so I don't doubt he'll make it to LaGuardia. Now, getting FROM the airport is another thing altogether....

MK, I just want to wish you luck. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you. And thank you for the compliment about DD. She is quite a hand full though and all our fault. She's very hard to say no to and she knows it. Little smarty pants.

Weather looks horrible here too. They issued a flood watch until later tonight.

Pikester, how's it going? When do your kids start school? Mine go back in a month. I need to start school shopping and am not looking forward to it all.

We are planning to go to Fort Wilderness in 2012..but I may be able to talk DH into 2011. But it would need to be in June as we don't have AC in trailer.

M&N Love that Maxine. Although the WDW Olympics sounds fun for those who go a lot. We have our own competition..who collapses first from all the running around.

Wait, kids are going back to school already? I know we haven't had much of a summer so far, but really? Back in my day rotfl2, we went back to school after Labor Day, and even then it wasn't real school because we'd soon have days off for the Jewish High Holidays.

A friend of mine was complaining about kids' school supply lists. Apparently they are very specific and cause some of the running out of items from local stores. Crazy! I do love fresh school supplies, but I like to choose them for myself.

DL55....how long of a drive is it from you to Orlando?

OH, MK, you will be fine. You've made us all proud by getting this far. Everything else will just be icing on the cake. How many people really get a chance to do this? Not many from the stats you posted a while back.

Renting a cabin a the Fort would be pretty cool. Don't forget they have the big campfire for everyone to roast marshmallows with the big movie screen right there to watch a Disney movie.

Well, the last time we drove it took us a week. That is because DH insisted on playing golf in LA and FL. Also it takes at least 2 days just to get through TX (and it seems like a week just there)!. I imagine we could do it in 4 days but we really like to drive and see other parts of the country anyway.

Hi all...just thought I'd take a break from the laundry pile. I'm trying to get everything organized because my cousin, wife and toddler are arriving Friday for a few days.

D&D - Love the photos...especially DS's napping position.

Marie - the food at WCC was OK but the kids loved the "entertainment", I'm not sure I would bother if they don't do that at lunch. As for travelling definitely take the boat from MK. The ride is only 5-10 mins so it just depends how long you have to wait for the boat. We asked at Poly how long it would be from there and was told 45 mins...ended up being 20 so we toured around Wilderness Lodge which wasn't so bad. I ate at San Angel 15 years ago...it was good then

Our kids still go back AFTER labour day Sept 8th this year but I've already started tackling the supply list. DS is suppose to even supply a computer memory stick!!

Better go check on the kids and DH...they're hanging in the pool...it's actually sunny for a change.
